Maple Residence

Divo Residence

Recently, many people have been asking me:
Will a black interior feel too heavy or too dark?

Actually, when designed properly,
black = pure sophistication 🔥

For this space, we used:
✔️ Dark grey + black as the main tone
✔️ Clean, minimalist lines
✔️ Hidden lighting to create depth and layers

The overall result feels:
👉 Clean
👉 Textured and refined
👉 Timeless and easy to live with

Here’s the key‼️
A black interior is NOT about making everything black.
It’s about balance:

✔️ Lighting (very important!)
✔️ Materials (wood, stone, glass)
✔️ Proportion (leaving breathing space)

For this TV wall + storage design:
👉 Practical and aesthetic at the same time
👉 Also very suitable for smaller units

If you like a low-key yet premium look,
modern black interiors are definitely worth considering ✨

A 958 sqft unit can still achieve a refined Japandi look.

For this Maple Residence project,
we went with a “soft-toned Japandi” concept.

✔ Wood tones paired with warm beige as the main palette
✔ Clean lines with minimal unnecessary decoration
✔ Hidden storage to make the space feel larger

The hallway is designed to elongate the visual proportion,
while the TV feature wall is finished with full-height wood panels,
creating a clean, timeless, and comfortable atmosphere.

Small units are actually perfect for Japandi —
simple, yet never boring.

Maple Residence

⸻

This TV feature wall was designed to look clean and timeless.

The homeowner really loves a MUJI-style aesthetic,
but didn’t want the space to feel too plain.
So we added a bit of contrast through colors and clean lines.

✔ The shoe cabinet is hidden here, so the living room looks neat at first glance
✔ 958 sqft — a compact space, but very well organized

This kind of style is truly easy to live with and never goes out of date.
If you have a similar layout, feel free to DM me.
