We were recently invited along to the Best Design Awards by Alt Group, the design studio behind Fisher & Paykel Nature Ritual exhibition at Milan Design Week 2026.

We’re excited to share that the project took home two Purple Pins and five Gold Pins across the Spatial and Graphic categories.

We had the privilege of building the display for the exhibition, bringing Alt Group’s design to life for Fisher & Paykel on a global stage.

Congratulations to Alt Group, Fisher & Paykel and everyone involved, and thank you for having us along.

Harbour Velvet

Designed around entertaining, this apartment kitchen opens a once closed-off space to the harbour.

Leathered Negresco stone wraps the benchtops and splashback, mitred with waterfall ends to the island and bar. Floor-to-ceiling dark stained oak cabinetry conceals every appliance, keeping the kitchen clutter-free when hosting.

A curved, fluted oak rangehood shroud trimmed in brass works around the low bulkheads, with the fluting repeated along the island base. Solid brass handles with oak finger grabs carry the contrast through. Opposite the glazing, a bronze-mirrored wet bar with antiqued brass shelving reflects the harbour back into the room.

All together, creating a space made for hosting.

A modern take on the traditional shaker kitchen, crafted in American White Ash stained a rich dark chocolate.

Wide crown-cut veneer panels with custom solid ash handles sit alongside Oyster Marble and 5mm stainless steel benchtops. The same veneer carries through to the laundry and TV cabinetry, with dark hardware used throughout the home.

Rounding out the project are two American Walnut vanities, designed to feel more like furniture pieces than built-in cabinetry.
