งานออกแบบที่อยู่ภายใต้ งบประมาณ 6 หลัก วัสดุ อาคารสำเร็จรูป และความต้องการพื้นที่ใช้สอย จาก owner ล้วนแต่เป็นโจทย์และเป็นความท้าทาย ที่ทางเราต้องนำมาบริหารและออกแบบเพื่อให้เกิดเป็นคาเฟ่ที่น่าสนใจ

ลักษณะของอาคารเป็นทรงกล่อง โปร่ง ลมและอากาศถ่ายเทได้สะดวก เป็นช่องขนาดให้เพื่อให้ลูกค้าสามารถสัมผัสกับธรรมชาติโดยเนื้อแท้ รู้สึกถึงอุณหภูมิที่เปลี่ยนไปในแต่ละช่วงเวลา

เพื่อที่สำหรับนั่งพัก รอหรือสั่งอาหารเครื่องดื่ม ถูกออกแบบให้ดูผ่อนคลายสามารถนั่งเอกเขนก ปรับเปลี่ยนกริยาบท มุมมอง ทิศทางในการเลือกเสพธรรมชาติได้รอบด้าน

"Prefab" stands for Prefabricated Building or Prefabrication, referring to a construction system where various building components are manufactured in a factory before being transported to the site for assembly or installation. Its advantages include:
1. Factory production: Components such as walls, floors, columns, or roofs are manufactured in a factory that adheres to standardized quality.
2. On-site assembly: Finished components are assembled together at the construction site.
3. Reduced construction time: It saves time and helps mitigate labor shortage issues.

Working within a six-figure budget, utilizing prefabricated building materials, and meeting the owner's specific spatial requirements—all these factors presented a unique set of challenges that we had to navigate to create a compelling café.

The building features an open, box-like design that allows for excellent airflow and natural ventilation. Large openings enable customers to truly connect with nature and sense the shifting temperatures throughout the day.

Designed as a space to sit and relax—whether waiting or ordering food and drinks—it offers a laid-back atmosphere where one can lounge comfortably, shifting postures and viewpoints to enjoy the surrounding nature from every angle.

Monte Cha & Roti คือโปรเจกต์ที่ฟื้นฟูอาคารเก่าสู่สถาปัตยกรรม และรูปแบบการใช้สอยไปในรูปแบบใหม่ ผ่านวัสดุที่คุ้นตาและดูเข้าใจง่ายนำมาจัดเรียงเพื่อให้เกิดรูปแบบและภาษาทางสถาปัตยกรรมที่น่าสนใจ

โครงการนี้ ยังทำหน้าที่เป็นตัวจุดประกายย่านกลางเมืองพัทลุง ทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และความเป็นพหุวัฒนธรรมในพื้นที่ได้อย่างเด่นชัดผ่านอาหารและวัฒนธรรมการใช้ชีวิตที่เรียบง่าย

นอกเสียจากความน่าสนใจของอาคารแล้ว การเปิดมุมมองสู่ภายนอกเพื่อทำให้เกิดการปฏิสัมพันธ์กันระหว่างคนกับคน คนกับเมือง และไปจนถึงคนกับธรรมชาติโดยรอบก็มีความน่าสนใจได้ไม่แพ้กัน

Monte Cha & Roti is a project that revitalizes old buildings, transforming their architecture and functionality into new forms. It utilizes familiar and easily recognizable materials, arranged to create captivating architectural styles and language.

This project also serves as a catalyst for the development of Phatthalung's central business district, significantly enhancing its economic, social, and multicultural aspects through its food and simple way of life.

Beyond the architectural appeal of the building itself, the opening up of views to the outside, fostering interaction between people and people, people and the city, and even people and the surrounding nature, is equally fascinating.
