Today, I had the chance to support Tropiflora, one of the true legends of the Bromeliad and Tillandsia world.

After nearly 50 years in business, they have seen both great success and difficult times—hurricanes, changing markets, business challenges, and eventually the decision to close.

What touched me most was that even during this difficult chapter, they continue selling plants to support and care for their team.

After 50 years, it is no longer just business. It becomes friendship, loyalty, care, and a bond built over decades—something money can never buy.

Even their “little” dog… who is actually very, very big 😂 still warmly welcomes every visitor.

Thank you, Tropiflora, for being one of the great inspirations to Tillandsia and Bromeliad growers around the world.

A business may have a beginning and an end, but the relationships, memories, and inspiration it creates can last far beyond it.

With great respect,
