The telescoping sections do the quiet work. A 15 foot pole has three. A 20 or 25 foot pole has four. Each one slides into the next, so the whole pole can come down to where you are standing.

You change the flag from the grass. You lower it without hunting for a rope that has gone stiff in the weather. It is a simple motion, and it stays simple all year.

Take a closer look at how those sections nest if you have been thinking about a pole you can work from the ground. https://atlanticflagpole.com/products/phoenix-telescoping-flagpole-premier-kit-starter-bundle?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy

The height question comes down to the house in front of you.

If it is a ranch or the yard is on the smaller side, 15 ft looks like it belongs. Most two-story homes are happiest with 20 ft. When the lot is wide or the driveway is long, 25 ft is what still reads from the road.

You want the pole to sit with the roofline, not fight it.

Tell us a little about the house if you want a second set of eyes on the choice. https://atlanticflagpole.com/products/phoenix-telescoping-flagpole-premier-kit-starter-bundle?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy

Here's the part nobody talks about when they put a pole in.

Digging and pouring take a little time. Then you wait for the concrete to set. After that, dropping the pole into the sleeve and clipping on the flag takes under five minutes. Really. The wait is the long part. The last move is not.

You walk back toward the house, look up, and the yard already feels different. If you've been thinking about flying one at home, that last stretch is simpler than it sounds. https://atlanticflagpole.com/products/phoenix-telescoping-flagpole-premier-kit-starter-bundle?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy

Here's a measurement that still makes people pause.

The height printed for a flagpole is the part that stands above the ground. A 20 ft pole has about 1.5 ft more length down in the sleeve, so the full pole is 21.5 ft.

That's how the flag clears the roof the way you pictured it from the street.

When you pick a height, trust that above-ground number and let the sleeve do the rest. https://atlanticflagpole.com/products/phoenix-telescoping-flagpole-premier-kit-starter-bundle?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy

You get the sleeve set and the concrete poured, and it already looks finished. Almost.

Let that mix cure for 24 to 48 hours before you drop the pole in. Once it has set, the pole and the flag go up in a few minutes, and they feel like they belong there.

That little wait is the easiest step, and it is the one your flag stands on.

Want the steps in order? https://atlanticflagpole.com/products/phoenix-telescoping-flagpole-premier-kit-starter-bundle?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy

You'd be surprised how quick the actual work is.

Digging the hole, setting the sleeve, pouring the concrete. That is the hands-on part, and most families finish it in about 1 to 2 hours. A few get through it in 30 minutes when the ground is kind and they prepped first.

After that you just let the concrete cure. Once it sets, the pole goes in and the flag goes on in a couple of minutes.

There is a quiet pride in looking out at your own yard and seeing it fly. If you have been meaning to put one up, the job is smaller than it looks. Our install guide walks through every step. https://atlanticflagpole.com/products/phoenix-telescoping-flagpole-premier-kit-starter-bundle?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy

People see the flag. Then they ask what actually stands behind the pole.

We call it SEAL TEAM 6 Defense. Six Layers of Defense. One Legendary Phoenix.

Satisfaction Defense is the 365-Day Phoenix Home Trial. Component Defense is the Limited Lifetime Forever Warranty on covered components. Theft Defense is Pol-D-Fense. Finish Defense is Colorfast Defense. Rust Defense is RustShield. Hydro-Flow Defense is the pole's internal drainage design.

Each one has its own eligibility and its own terms. It is not one blanket guarantee, and that honesty is the part we like. Wind and lightning are not among the six. Flags are not covered by them either.

If you want those six layers in plain language, we will walk through them with you. https://atlanticflagpole.com?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy

Drive far enough off the road and the scale of the yard changes everything. A 15 ft pole that looks right in a small front lawn gets swallowed by acres and a long approach.

That is why the 25 ft poles tend to end up at farms and country homes. The flag has more ground to cover before anyone sees it. From the mailbox it should still feel like the flag, not a speck against the sky.

If your house sits back a ways, 25 ft is usually the height that finally looks like it belongs. https://atlanticflagpole.com?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy

A second flag under the Stars and Stripes is how a lot of families tell the rest of the story.

The American flag keeps its place. The one below it is usually personal. A state flag. A branch of service. Something that belongs to your people.

Every kit already includes the DUO-Harness. You don't order it later. You don't hunt for extra clips. You just attach that second flag and both of them fly.

If you have a second flag ready to go, you already have what you need to fly it. https://atlanticflagpole.com/products/phoenix-telescoping-flagpole-premier-kit-starter-bundle?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy

A lot of neighbors want to know what that 100 MPH rating on the bigger Phoenix poles really covers. Fair question.

On the 20 ft and 25 ft models, it is a product specification. The pole is engineered for wind-rated performance up to 100 MPH when it is properly installed, flying one approved 4x6 or smaller Premium Nylon U.S. flag, with a standard 3 inch ball topper.

Leave the extra gear off. And if severe weather is on the way, telescope it down. That is how you look after a flag you actually love.

Ask us anytime if you want the spec walked through in plain language. https://atlanticflagpole.com?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=flaggy
