Poovi Art

Poovi Art is a contemporary art practice by visual artist Poonam Choudhary, focused on abstract expressionism and mixed-media exploration.

The work investigates form, texture, and spatial relationships, creating a dialogue between materiality and emotion. Poovi Art reflects an evolving contemporary language informed by process, intuition, and minimal aesthetics. Through contrasting colors and intersecting forms, Poovi Art balances chaos and order, nature and abstraction. Working with high-quality acrylics, Poonam creates multilayered compositions that evoke movement, depth, and transformative energy. Her process embraces the interplay of control and surrender, allowing each piece to unfold organically and intuitively. Her art invites viewers into a space of reflection, capturing the delicate equilibrium between the fleeting present and the infinite. Celebrated internationally through prestigious exhibitions and art fairs, Poovi Art bridges fine art and functional design, leaving a lasting impression on collectors and audiences worldwide. Autumn understood the assignment. 🍁✨

Golden leaves, crisp air, and a little magic in the everyday. Taking the scenic route and soaking it all in. 🤎🍂

Some emotions bloom with bruises still showing. 🥀

Bruised Emotions series

Born from intuition and memory, this piece holds what lingers after love, after loss, after the words run out.

Sculptural plaster, acrylic, and oil pastel meet in layers of raw texture and tender marks. Every exposed edge becomes part of the story.

Florals emerge mid-transformation—vulnerable, imperfect, still becoming. A reflection of the softness we carry, even through difficult seasons.

A home for the emotions we haven’t found words for yet. 🤍

What feeling do you see in these layers?
