Painting the inside of the door was a last minute decision and I hadn't prepped that area. Went for it and guess who gets to fix it now? To save 5-10minutes of proper prep I will now spend another hour fixing. Worst part? I knew better.🤦‍♀️It's not the paints fault-it's the painter's fault. The rest of the piece is cured and solid.

This is why I hardly ever purchase a white painted piece even if I intend to paint it white. My paint job is only as good as the base coat under it. 99% of the time that base coat prep was not done well and a project becomes WAY more work than it needs to be😳. So here I am having to sand most of this white paint off just to turn around and prime/then paint it white again. UGH!!!!

I should be working on furniture but it's warm & sunny and actually feels good when water splashes in my face cleaning my Calla & Canna Lilly bulbs. Usually wait till it's too cold and can't feel my fingers by the time I'm done. So thank you Mother Nature for this warm day!
