We provide landscape design, installation, and maintenance services in North Atlanta.

My name is Charles Ellis and I studied horticulture at Clemson University with a focus on landscape design. With this background and years of experience, I started Creativ Landscaping and have developed a system where we can provide each customer with a unique and specific program for managing their landscapes. This includes landscape maintenance based on proven methods, installation using quality plant material and proper planting methods, and design services that meet the clients needs while also accommodating the current and future needs of the property. We do our best to properly manage the landscaping so that it looks better and healthier with time.

Metro Atlanta Update 🌿☀️💧

We’re currently seeing drought conditions shifting from severe toward extreme across the metro area 📊

At the same time, temperatures have been tracking more like early summer than mid-April 🌡️—which can increase stress on turf and plant material earlier than expected.

The good news 👍
With proper irrigation, monitoring, and water management, landscapes can stay healthy and continue to perform well through this stretch 💧🌱

Staying ahead with small adjustments now can make a big difference heading into the warmer months.

🚨 Atlanta Drought Update

Quick heads up for our clients and friends —

We’re currently in a severe drought across Atlanta, and it’s starting to impact even well-maintained landscapes.

If your lawn is looking off…
or plants seem stressed…

You’re not alone.

🌱 What’s happening:
• Soil is drying out faster than normal
• Lawns are struggling to retain moisture
• New plantings are under the most stress

💧 What to do right now:
• Water deeper (not just more often)
• Early mornings (2am start)
• Give extra attention to new plants (1 year or younger)

This is one of those times where a little awareness now can prevent a lot of damage later.

If you’re unsure what your property needs, we’re happy to take a look and help you stay ahead of it.

Honoring a legacy in Vinings. 🌿

We recently had the privilege of expanding the dedicated space that celebrates the life and artistry of Nellie Mae Rowe. This pocket park sits on her original homesite, adjacent to Hotel Indigo Atlanta, and now includes enhanced pathways and curated panels that share her story, her artwork, and her incredible impact on Southern folk art.

Projects like this remind us that landscaping isn’t just about shaping outdoor spaces—it’s about preserving history, honoring culture, and creating meaningful places where people can connect.
We’re grateful to help enhance a space that tells such a powerful story.

We recently completed a landscape renovation for a client looking to address erosion concerns while elevating the aesthetic of the patio-adjacent space.

Our goal: blend function and aesthetic appeal into one seamless upgrade.

What we delivered:
✔️ Leveled and the granite wall
✔️ Integrated discreet drainage solutions to correct erosion and protect the landscape
✔️ Plants selections for year-round texture, color, and balance
✔️ Installed landscape lighting to enhance ambiance and highlight key features

The result is a backyard that not only performs, but looks exceptional day and night.
