This is the beauty of working lunch in the morning. The light hits these plates just enough to make them pop even more. Beautiful plates for a beautiful day.

No matter the accolades, positive praise, or effort you put in, you will have those days out of your control. Stay humble in the sellouts and the leftovers. Focus on what you can control and never loose sight of the bigger picture. One day does not define a journey.

Today was the first day in three years, it wasn’t profitable to open. It really makes you cherish those days you leave exhausted even more. 🍖🔥

So I am thinking of this crazy idea. Since we’re open so rarely and many kitchen staff are prepping when we’re actually open, what if we dropped off a kitchen sink to a restaurant for their enjoyment. Dropped this off earlier tonight to an unsuspecting restaurant and it was well received. Would you like to receive this at your workplace?

I’m starting to understand the name MisfitsChaos…

MISFIT — because apparently nobody told them they’re supposed to follow the normal rules.

CHAOS — because they’re out here disrupting the painfully slow turnaround we’ve gotten used to with custom stickers. 😂

These showed up for Micks’d Up Kitchen, and they absolutely nailed them. Fast turnaround, sharp print, and they handled our particular brand of nonsense perfectly.

Small businesses supporting small businesses is how we all grow, so do me a favor — go give MisfitsChaos a follow and check out what they’re doing. Also thanks James Clements Tattooer for the inspiration!

And if you need some stickers made, you might want to get in now before everybody else figures them out.

Tell ’em Micks’d Up sent you. 🔥
