Oh hello my awkward little dude! Story time:
This llama was made from a kit given to me by a friend. It’s originally from hobby lobby. I figured the kit was perfect to take on the airplane for my last vacation since we had long flights. He’s very cute but the kit did not give enough yarn to finish him the right way! I didn’t have enough brown to do the hair, tail, or the final row on any of the legs despite following the instructions exactly. I have more than enough black to use for something else and a little extra blue and just a scrap of the white. Overall I think the kit is a good idea but I think they need to start adding extras of the main color. My tension is fairly tight too so I usually tend to have leftover yarn for my projects. What are your thoughts? Have you ever used these kits? I have a highland cow one as well that o will probably attempt when I travel again in October.
