Another grading and drainage project wrapped up!

This property had a large mound of excess clay left over from the home’s original construction, causing rainwater to pool near the foundation. Our team removed the mound, hauled away multiple loads of clay, and regraded the area to improve drainage and direct water away from the home.

To finish the job, we installed rolled grass seed matting to help establish new grass and control erosion, leaving the property clean and ready for new growth.

💧 GUTTER & DRAINAGE SYSTEM UPGRADE 💧

Another drainage project completed by Southeast Contracting LLC.

The existing gutter system had large residential downspouts tied into exposed PVC above ground with an unattractive Y-pipe setup. The old piping ran into a 90° fitting that discharged into the yard without a proper drainage outlet, causing clogging and drainage problems.

We cleaned up the system and gave the water somewhere to go. 🔨

What we did:
• Separated the existing Y-pipe connections
• Extended the downspouts down to ground level
• Installed proper downspout turns to direct the water into catch basins
• Installed 4-inch PVC drainage lines connecting the catch basins
• Routed the drainage lines to a dry well approximately 15 feet from the property
• Created a cleaner-looking system that moves water away from the home and allows it to disperse through the dry well

The finished system looks cleaner, eliminates the unnecessary exposed piping, and provides a much better route for handling the water coming from the gutters.

💧 DRAINAGE SYSTEM UPGRADE 💧

We came in and upgraded an existing drainage system to improve its performance and give it some extra capacity.

We added two additional dry wells in the back, along with one more dry well tied into another drainage system. We also incorporated a small drainage system for the pool to handle the water from the pool’s surface skimming system — roughly 10–20 gallons — and keep everything draining properly.

Small upgrades like these can make a big difference when it comes to managing water and preventing future drainage issues. 💪🔨

🚧 Drainage & Landscape Project Progress

Another project taking shape at Southeast Contracting LLC.

We’re making great progress on the drainage system, including catch basins, dry wells, and underground drainage lines designed to properly move water throughout the property.

The landscaping is starting to come together as well, with Emerald Green Arborvitae being added to give the finished landscape a clean, polished look. The remaining trees are on order and will be installed as soon as they’re back in stock. 🌳

There’s still work to be finished, but everything is coming together nicely. We’ll be wrapping up the remaining drainage, landscaping, and final touches soon.

Big drainage upgrade underway. 🚜💪

This weekend, Southeast Contracting got started on completely reworking the gutter drainage system on this property.

The existing setup had exposed PVC running throughout the yard, so we’re cleaning it up and moving everything underground. We’ve removed the old lines, cleared trees and brush, excavated the dry-well locations, and trenched out the new drainage system.

Once completed, the downspouts will feed into catch basins connected to 4” underground PVC lines and 50-gallon dry wells, helping manage runoff while giving the property a much cleaner finished look.

We’re not finished yet — this is just the groundwork. Finished product coming soon. 👊

🚨 Emergency Sewer Line Collapse 🚨

Another sewer emergency handled by Southeast Contracting LLC.

Before any excavation began, we inspected the sewer line with a camera, accurately located the collapsed section, and marked the repair area to minimize unnecessary digging and ensure the repair was completed efficiently.

From there, we:
✔️ Excavated the damaged area
✔️ Removed the collapsed sewer line
✔️ Installed new PVC pipe
✔️ Restored proper flow and got the customer back up and running
