Here are before and after photos of our new garage. I had shelving made from plywood & 2x4 for all my holiday bins. Had a backboard installed with hooks to hand beach/lawn chairs and for my wreath.

Not sure how to organize all of those recipes that you have printed or cut out of magazines ? here you go...1. Purchase Binder(s). I got these at Target. Love how they look with the Pineapples design. 2. Sort recipes into categories-ie: Appetizers, Soups, Main Meal, Breads, Desserts & Drinks. Slip into Clear Pockets, 3. Use Page Dividers by labeling. Voila! You now have your very own personalized Recipe book. The Or/gan/iz/er.

How to organize a linen closet....fold sheets & towels with open ends facing back on their shelf, sort & place first aid, medicine, oral hygiene, female products in their own clear container. Here are a Before & After photos of my Christmas tree. This year I wanted a more warm, cozy, traditional look and feel. I used a red plaid with snowflakes ribbon. Added a grapevine star for the tree topper. The 3rd photo shows the knit with brown fur tree skirt which creates the cozy feel. I made a bow around the tree skirt to capture the ribbon that is used through out the tree.

Tip of the Day......Preparing for this snow storm-don't forget about your 4 legged furry friends that need a place to poop. All you need is a tarp/or large piece of cardboard, and something to anchor. After it stops snowing, remove tarp......viola! You now have a "Doggy Poop Land".

Tip of the Day-Tip of the Day...By simply shredding any document, receipt, address label, or piece of paper with identifying information like account numbers, you can stop identity thieves in their tracks.

But the key word is shred. Simply ripping an item a few times by hand will not do.

Use a shredder!

There were several things I loved about the way Jackie worked: 1) She had a method - she helped me establish a plan as to how to sort and clean out these areas. Not just the traditional save, trash, and donate...she devised a plan to sort things by how and where they were used. 2) Jackie worked along side of me, getting her hands dirty and doing whatever it took to clean out the basement and garage (ok, she actually worked harder than I did, and continued to persevere when I thought the task was daunting...) 3) Jackie had a plan for organizing the items that should go into these areas.
