When a white oak island feels too orange for the space, replacing it isn’t the only option.

JMW Woodwork developed a custom HVLP toner to carefully cool the existing finish and create a more natural white oak tone—one that complements the surrounding flooring, cabinetry, and interior design.

Because a beautiful result depends on more than color alone, we selected a properly compatible finishing system and built a tailored spray booth on-site. Overspray and fumes were contained, filtered, and exhausted safely outside—well away from the home.

The result was a refined, natural-looking finish, a thrilled client, and a beautiful custom home left exactly as we found it—without a scratch.

Did you know we offer kitchen refinishing and upgrades? We upgraded and totally transformed the look of this kitchen with so many added features to turn builder grade into the equivalent of custom cabinets. We added new soft close slides and hinges, real plywood skins on the end panels so all would have real oak texture, added crown molding, built the cabinets up to accommodate the new countertop thickness and also provided a high quality factory grade finish. These are just some of the details and the list goes on. From old oak and just alright, to all nice and all white! We provided the user experience of new for a fraction of the cost of replacement and the they could trust JMW with their home while on vacation so never had to go without access to their kitchen. Our work is second to none, but where we really shine is in our coordination with your life, other trades, and the ability to guide the process to keep you on schedule and offer solutions to unexpected issues that arise in any remodeling project.
