Working on my strawberry beds and a few raised beds for some anemone flowers. I also started the trellis for our blackberries. We should be loaded with berries next spring and summer! ☀️

I love all that God sends to remind me to count my blessings. In less than 2 months, we will get to move to the prettiest little piece of Alcorn County, Mississippi. God has been good to us! Even when the world behaves like the world and people remind you how real the devil is, God remains in control and gets the final answer. I am so grateful. ☺️

She is living the dreams I have for her, and it is my prayer that one day, she will be so grateful I never gave up and worked so hard for her to grow up here.

God, I’m still counting my blessings. Thank you. 🥰

This kid can work CIRCLES around us! How many 10-year old boys do you know (this day & age) that can run a walk behind tractor, clutch & all, and LOVE doing it? Thankful to have his help this summer. ❤️

Remember when I asked how you’d feel about farm fresh, chemical free, organically grown garlic? Well, I tried it and it was a SUCCESS! 🎉

Now, we have to let it cure for a couple weeks. I’ll have a limited amount to sell this year since we were testing the waters, but I’m happy to say this will be a staple for the farm! I will keep planting as long as you keep buying! 🧄

Went to check on the blueberries this morning and discovered we are also growing passion flower. Passionflowers & fruits aren’t supposed to survive anything above zone 9 (southern California & Florida).

What a sweet surprise!!

Found these sweet baby birds, and my little Ruth can’t get enough of them! Absolutely love raising my own babies to learn all there is about the joys that come from slowing down long enough to notice the beauty in the simple things this life has to offer.

First year farming strawberries, and I’ve learned the hard way that the age of the plant matters! The berries are beautiful, and my Ruthie girl LOVES them, but I wouldn’t want these going out to the public. The good news is, I’ve learned what to do differently and know next year will be better! 🍓

The blueberries, however, are kicking it into high gear and I believe it’ll be a FANTASTIC year for them! I can’t wait to be able to offer some for sell soon. 🤩
