So we may or may not put our wooden spoons in the dishwasher from time to time. Ideally you want to hand wash. But let’s be real, that doesn’t always happen, especially when a teenager’s chore is the dishes. This is one of the first spoons I ever made (don’t judge the imperfections). It certainly has lost its luster. The beauty of wood is it is REALLY easy to care for. Even when not properly cared for it can be brought back to life, unlike plastic.

I added our board butter to this spoon last night, rubbed it in real quick and let it sit over night. Voila! Look at the difference. Our board butter will help condition your wood for up to a month.
