“Moss poles are dumb and pointless, just use a wood board”

Wood boards are great for support, but they lack an advantage that a moss pole gives for fast growing climbers - the moss pole is a secondary rooting media source, transforming the aerial roots into more than just support, but allowing it to absorb nutrients, too.

Since a moss pole requires you to keep it moist, when climbers shoot their aerial roots into the moss, it recognizes that it can be a source of water intake. The aerials that would normally harden and grab onto something, would then transform into a dual function of support and taking on water and nutrients.

And when it comes time to chop and extend, the moment you separate the main vine from the bottom pot of soil, it can still sustain itself indefinitely because the roots inside the pole and in the moss are already operating on an intake function.

Wood board or moss pole, you can go either way. But my experience shows that moss poles are what gives me the results I want faster 💪🏻

‼️SOLD‼️

Plant friends! I have 3 rolling plant shelves that are ready for grow lights!

Will not come with the lights on them now, and of course don’t come with anything but the rolling shelves themselves. The lights I used were Barrina T5 2 foot 10W lights that clip in (I’m leaving the clips in place just in case you go this route)

• 3 rolling cart plant shelves
• 2 have 19” spacing, 1 cart has 16” spacing
• each shelf is roughly 22” long and 16.5” wide (see my photo where you can see the tubs that slide in)

Slowly moving over my shelf growing to a different setup

$30 for all 3

As I’m starting to tidy up the outside plants to start moving them inside soon, I get to pay attention to all the growth some of my own personal collection has done over the last few months. I tend to get everything on an auto system so I don’t have to worry about the outside plants, but that also means I’m not paying attention to them as much. Here are a couple of mine that have surprised me with how much progress they’ve gotten.
