🌸 A Special Shout-Out to Piper! 🌸

Some people truly make a difference in their community, and my friend Piper is one of them!

As the owner of Urban Dirt Gardening and through her new venture The Grower’s Life, Piper continues to share her passion for gardening, education, and giving back to McKinney.

We were fortunate to have Piper as a guest speaker at the McKinney Garden Club, where she shared her knowledge and enthusiasm with our members.

Now she’s helping support another wonderful community treasure, Chestnut Square, with its upcoming Bingo Night fundraiser on Thursday, October 22!

Piper is one of those special people who doesn’t just talk about community — she rolls up her sleeves and makes things happen!

Thank you, Piper, for all you do to help our community grow and flourish! 🌼💚

Come out, enjoy a fun evening of Bingo, and support a wonderful cause! See the flyer for all the details.

🌸 What a wonderful Mix & Mingle! 🌿

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us today! We had 52 fabulous ladies come together for a fun afternoon of learning, lunch, laughter, and fellowship.

We loved learning about “Texas Tough” gardening and sharing ideas for creating beautiful gardens that can handle our Texas weather! 🌻☀️🌱

Great food, great friends, and a room full of ladies who share a love for gardening and our community—what could be better?

Thank you for making today so special! 💐

🌿 McKinney Garden Club Hospitality Volunteers Needed! 🌿

We’re looking for a few helping hands to assist our Hospitality Committee at Garden Club meetings this year!

Volunteers would arrive a little early to help dress the tables, prepare the kitchen and beverages, pick up box lunches, and add those special touches that make our meetings welcoming and beautiful. 🌸

You do not have to be a Garden Club member to volunteer — members, friends, and community helpers are all appreciated!

If you’d be willing to lend a hand, please leave a message below and we will put you in touch with Jennifer and or Kristen. Even helping with one meeting would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for helping make the McKinney Garden Club such a warm and welcoming place! 🌷

As the 2026 McKinney Garden & Home Tour comes to a close, I am filled with gratitude for everyone who helped make this event such a special celebration of our community. Thank you to our sponsors, McKinney Garden Club members, homeowners, volunteers, ticket outlet partners, and committee heads. Your generosity, dedication, and hard work brought this tour to life and created an inspiring experience for so many.

I am also grateful to everyone who purchased tickets, toured the homes and gardens, and supported our mission. Your enthusiasm and participation help this cherished tradition thrive each tour year.

The McKinney Garden Club has been planting seeds of beauty, preservation, and community spirit in Historic McKinney for nearly a century. 🌿

As shared by local historian Kenneth Cole, the Club was already giving back in 1971 through projects like the beautification efforts at Finch Park — proving that community involvement and civic pride have always been at the heart of what we do.

Now, in 2026, we proudly celebrate:
✨ 96 years of the McKinney Garden Club
🏡 The 14th Bi-Annual McKinney Garden & Home Tour
🌸 Decades of preserving beauty, supporting local projects, and inspiring our community

From historic parks to stunning homes and gardens, our mission continues to grow year after year. When you purchase a ticket to the McKinney Garden & Home Tour, you’re not just attending a beautiful event — you’re supporting ongoing community beautification, education, and preservation efforts throughout McKinney.

Come celebrate the legacy.
Come see the beauty.
Come be part of what continues to bloom in McKinney. 🌿✨
