Before the snap hits, give your garage door a quick listen:
1. Open and close it once. Any grinding, popping, or a door that suddenly feels heavy can mean a spring or cable issue.
2. Sq**rt a little garage door l**e on the rollers and hinges (not WD-40).
3. Look at the bottom weather seal. Gaps get drafty fast once nights cool off.

Cooler mornings are finally here in DFW 🍂 Good time for a 2-minute garage door safety check.

1. Look at the safety sensors near the floor on each side. Both lights should be solid, not blinking.
2. Lay a roll of paper towels in the doorway and close the door. It should stop and reverse when it touches it.
3. Listen for grinding or squeaking. After last week's rain, rollers and hinges can use a little garage door l**e (not WD-40).

If the door doesn't reverse, don't keep using it. We'll take a look.

Before & after in Terrell 🔧

This door came off its tracks and was hanging crooked in the opening. Our tech set it back on track, checked the cables and rollers, and got it closing flush again.

If your door jumps the track, stop using it and keep the opener unplugged. Running it can bend panels and snap cables. That's a job for a pro.
