Clearing Ice, Crushing Cancer. 🩷

Last month, our team sat at a table at Ignite the Fight, the annual gala for Pink Ribbon Good. Outside, pink concrete mixers, dump trucks, and box trucks lined the lane. Inside, more than 140 names were read aloud, PRG clients lost to cancer in the past year. Before the night was over, that room raised more than $1 million in about ten minutes.

Champion signed on as a Pink Ribbon Good Dayton Region partner earlier this year. That night, most of us heard the whole story for the first time.
Pink Ribbon Good started right here in Dayton. It provides free healthy meals, rides to treatment, cleaning essentials, and peer support to people with breast and gynecological cancer and their families, regardless of income.

Here’s our part:

Shoutout to our grinding crew, working on storm debris cleanup. 💪

Storms can leave a lot of debris behind. Someone has to clean it up. This week, it has been our crew in Gary, Indiana. It's a FEMA job, and they're turning downed trees and brush into ground organic material, then loading it out one trailer at a time.

Here's how mobile grinding works:
✔️ We bring the grinder to your site, along with the operators and support equipment to run it.
✔️ We offer both primary and finish grinding.
✔️ When the job is done, you can keep the material on-site for reuse, or Champion can haul it out.

Storm cleanup, land clearing, a brush pile that's gotten out of hand.

Gary, Indiana, this week. Hurricane cleanup in Florida before that, and many places in between.

If the debris is there, our grinder can get there too.

Something new is on the way. 🚧

We're launching a brand new Champion website with a fresh look. While we make the switch, the current site will be down starting at 3:00 PM today, Friday, September 18.

Look for the new site to be up and running by Monday.

Preseason bagged salt pricing ends this Friday, 9/18.

After that, the best price of the season is gone until next year. If you run a crew, this is the week to lock in your season supply.

Buying early does two jobs at once. It protects your margin when in-season prices climb, and it takes salt off your list of worries once the first forecast turns and everyone else is scrambling for supply.

Order by Friday, 9/18. Pickup or delivery runs through October 31.
