Does your brick or flagstone walkway need to be replaced—or just repointed?
When mortar joints begin to crack, crumble, or fall out, water can work its way into the gaps and accelerate deterioration, especially through freeze-thaw cycles.
Repointing removes the deteriorated mortar and replaces it with new mortar suited to the existing masonry. The key is using the right materials and properly preparing the joints before installing the new mortar.
The goal? Restore the joints, protect the existing walkway, and get more life out of the masonry you already have.
