𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢

The weather is starting to cool and while I might drink this on Halloween while the kiddos appear for treats, it's a delicious treat throughout the Fall.

I don't think I can ever get enough caramel and apple together! 😋

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝

It's been cool in Colorado the last couple of days, although I don't really need much of an excuse to make this Caramel Apple Monkey Bread It's so easy using prepared biscuit dough and totally luscious with caramel covered apples and pecans throughout.

𝗥𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗶

Aioli is basically garlic and olive oil, usually with salt.

Revisions along the way have seen egg added to it to create more of an emulsion but I decided to forego that and start mine with an olive oil mayonnaise.

I've never had a problem with raw eggs but this eliminates that problem entirely!

What is it good on? Almost everything!

𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗱
I made these for New Year's Eve last year so very few actually saw them and then this year? Well, I'm late, opps I forgot!

But really SO easy. It's meringue but baked and hardened and then topped with fruit and whipped cream. Make them for guests...they will think you worked all day! 😋

I first starting making this batter for Hot Buttered Rum cocktails before I moved to Colorado...over 30 years ago! But we still love it today. It's mixed, frozen, and ready for company in an instant!

𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲
I've made English Toffee for years and we loved it; I imagine many of you have as well. And then one day a friend offered me some from a Christmas gift she had gotten from one of her students.

It was different and better and hard to describe. The toffee flavor was great but it had something a bit extra and whatever it was, the toffee was a hint lighter and softer, not quite as brittle. How could it be toffee and not be brittle? Like I said, hard to describe!

I asked her if she could get the recipe and this is it. It doesn't matter how you include your chocolate or your nuts...it's one little teeny addition of something unexpected...SO good!

Love pomegranates but find them impossible to use because of the mess? Tried the 'tricks' including smacking them with a spoon or cleaning them underwater?

This is the most natural and best way to get the maximum number of arils with a minimal amount of mess!
