Girls bathroom refresh! This client wanted more storage for her growing girls and wanted it to feel more personal to them. We doubled the storage with a large medicine cabinet and more functional vanity.

I collaborated with Erin (EMZ Interiors ) on this one, and Erin sourced the perfect vanity. Our client did not want to replace the tile so we had to find a vanity that had the same footprint. I love how this one looks like it has pretty legs but still hides the fact that there is no tile underneath.

Our savvy client actually found this wallpaper from the sources we had shared with her, we went with it over the pink so that the girls could really grow into the space. It compliments the tones in the tile perfectly! (tip: having samples on hand really helped pick the one that would work best)

I love to collaborate! This project proves that with a small budget and a little bit of effort you can really change a space! I hope the girls love it for years to come!

I really enjoyed my visit to BOHO FLOURISH RUGS rug shop (on Santa Fe in the Denver arts district). The owner’s son, Anthony, told me so much about the different types of rugs from Iran.

🪲One amazing thing I learned is that the dyes for the rugs are derived from nature- insects, plants, etc. So amazing! Therefore, if you see “black” it’s actually a very dark navy blue.

I wanted a full height stone backsplash and countertops without any seams- a jumbo slab of quartz from Stratus Surfaces made the most sense to achieve all our goals! I love it. I forget that it’s quartz, honestly!

Love the simple hood from Hoodsly | Wooden Range Hoods . I learned you can match stain. I took the raw walnut to Guirys and they matched it to the cabinets perfectly!

I am so happy not to have to wipe down stainless steel anymore, the white is easy to clean. It’s an induction range, my favorite part being I canI boil water in less than a minute! It’s a sustainable choice, and to be honest we just didn’t want to have to run gas to the kitchen.

The extra tap at the sink is for filtered water- makes filling water bottles a breeze!

I have always had a strong vision for what I wanted this back wall to be. I had to convince my husband, the cabinet supplier and the contractor that this is exactly how I wanted it!
“What do you mean you want it to look built in?”
“What are you going to put on the shelf?”
“They sent the wrong cabinets- it’s two colors!”

So happy I stuck with it and grateful for a cabinet supplier that really was so creative to help me achieve this with a semi-custom line! Our house is a mid century ranch, so I like how the shaker green cabinets lean into the other more ranch style elements of the home.

The terrazzo tile is the star of the show! The nicest rep at Clè Tile was able to cut their large format tiles down to 4x4 size for me! It makes me so happy.

Fun fact: The left cabinet houses the microwave and other appliances!

Our kitchen!!! Many many years in the making, but luckily only 6 weeks of construction and no surprises! Our old kitchen was less than ideal but I am grateful for all the memories we had there. So excited for new memories- we could not be happier with our new kitchen!!
