Late-night arts and crafts in the shop! 📐✏️🔧

Our version just happens to involve steel, tape measures, grinders, and a whole lot of attention to detail. Another custom outdoor kitchen frame is taking shape—one careful measurement at a time.

The best outdoor spaces don’t come off an assembly line. They’re built by hand.

✨ Another Resin Rock transformation complete! ✨

We recently had the privilege of resurfacing the front steps, accessibility ramp, and covered porch at Popular Springs Church in New Brockton, Alabama.

The Sedona Blend was a great choice for this project—its rich, warm tones complement the church’s red brick beautifully while creating a clean, seamless, and refreshed entrance for the congregation and visitors.

Thank you to Popular Springs Church for trusting Rich’s Outdoor Kitchens with your project!

🏡 A front porch should feel welcoming before anyone ever reaches the door.

Big thank you to Ms. Kesseler for allowing us the opportunity to transform her front porch! We recently completed this Resin Rock transformation for Ms. Kesseler’s home in Enterprise. Her porch and steps were resurfaced in the Beverley Minster blend, giving the entrance a warmer, more finished appearance while working beautifully with the existing colors of the home. ✨

Projects like this are a great example of how an aging concrete surface can be refreshed without completely changing the character of the house. 🔨

We appreciate Ms. Kesseler for choosing a local business and allowing us to transform the entrance to her home. 🙌

The recent rain has me thinking about why I became interested in Resin Rock in the first place.

This is actually my outdoor kitchen floor.

When humidity and temperature conditions are just right, the concrete begins to sweat. It can become surprisingly slick, especially with kids running around.

That’s one of the reasons I started researching Resin Rock and permeable surface systems.

A common misconception is that Resin Rock is always 100% fully permeable.

If it’s installed over existing concrete, the concrete underneath still blocks water movement but fixes the sweating and water pooling to a degree.

However, when installed as a complete system using our RockCrete permeable base, water can flow through the surface, substrate and into the ground below.

🌧️ The rain we’ve been getting lately reminded me of a problem I deal with at my own home.

The first few photos were taken in my outdoor kitchen after a period of heavy rain and humidity.

If you’ve ever experienced concrete “sweating,” you know how slick it can become. As a father, seeing moisture and puddles form on surfaces where my children walk and play has always concerned me.

Experiencing this issue firsthand is one of the reasons I became interested in Resin Rock.

Unlike traditional concrete, Resin Rock is designed to allow water to drain through the surface rather than collect on top. The result is less standing water, improved drainage, and a textured surface that provides excellent traction even in wet conditions.

✅ Slip Resistant
✅ Permeable Surface
✅ Reduces Standing Water
✅ Covers Existing Concrete
✅ Durable & Low Maintenance
✅ Beautiful Natural Stone Finish

Many homeowners choose Resin Rock because of how great it looks.

I appreciate it because it helps solve real problems.

If you’re dealing with puddling, slippery concrete, drainage issues, cracked concrete, or simply want to upgrade your outdoor space, we’d love to help.

We recently had the opportunity to upgrade the front entrance at Enterprise Wholesale Flooring & Lighting, and the results speak for themselves! 🙌

One of the biggest challenges on this project was repairing a large damaged section of concrete. Instead of replacing the entire slab, we utilized our Resin Rock system to seamlessly restore the area—and now you would never know the damage was ever there! 👏

🏡 Why Homeowners & Businesses Love Resin Rock:

✅ Covers damaged, stained, and aging concrete
✅ Slip-resistant surface for added safety
✅ Durable and designed to withstand the elements
✅ Low maintenance and easy to clean
✅ Beautiful natural stone appearance
✅ Can be installed over existing concrete
✅ Great for porches, patios, pool decks, walkways, driveways, and commercial spaces

This space used to be small, outdated, and barely functional. We removed the cramped concrete kitchen, expanded the layout, and turned it into a show‑stopper — complete with a custom cedar pergola, top‑of‑the‑line Napoleon grill, flat top, and side burner. The floor got a full upgrade with Resin Rock’s Haka Falls blend (with glow rock and design work), the counters shine with premium granite countertops from Alabama Marble & Granite, and Next Level Audio & Video Solutions handled a pro audio + lighting package that brings the whole space to life.

Rich’s Outdoor Kitchens partners with the best in the business — because every client deserves craftsmanship that lasts and outdoor spaces guests actually fight to be invited to.

That ugly concrete had a bad slope, bad drainage, and zero curb appeal. We refreshed this porch with a Beverly Minister Resin Rock blend, fixed the slope, and transformed the old drain to something a little more modern — now it’s party‑ready. Neighbors are upgrading for summer — will yours be the one they’re raving about or the one they’re whispering about next door?
