Larry has come a long way. I spontaneously adopted him while stopping at Petco to grab some dog food. Who knew this would be a whole rollercoaster … Fish ICU isn’t for the weak. 😂 ❤️‍🩹

Anyone else ever run a Fish ICU?

Hydroponic tower 💦 refresh 🌱

My tap water runs through a softener, so it was way too salty and salty water makes it hard for roots to pull in water, while the sodium blocks nutrient uptake, crowding out the potassium, calcium and magnesium plants actually need.

Breaking it all down, swapping in filtered water and remixing fresh nutrients with the pH balanced. Now the nutrients can be easily absorbed.
