Yesterday we worked late to deliver this small but well fitted out Master bathroom. Special features are a heated towel rack, bamboo vanity with porcelain vessel sink, Japanese electric toilet/bidet and a Castico low entry solid stone shower pan. Next we will install a glass door across the shower. During the work we replaced the condemned gray water lines and replaced them with Pex A tubing.

I was called in to save this 70 year old staircase that had slowly pulled away from it's left stringer and had the first 5 steps to fall out. There were two air ducts in the way that I removed for access. Using straps and my body, I pulled, kicked and hammered the stairs back together. New blocking, Sika adhesives, and brad nails were used to rebuild and hold the treads and risers moving forward. In a day or two they will be good as new.

This week we fit in this kitchen refresher. New floors, some cabinet repairs and new butcher block counters with sink. Clients will paint their cabinets next. Note, no tiles were hurt in this process!

This past week we kicked off our master bedroom bath remodel. First, we always button up and protect the area. After demo, we completed the transition from old gray pex pipes to modern type A pipes. We had left an access hole in the kitchen ceiling to do this. With the electric and plumbing rough in work done, it's time to set the pan and begin tiling!

We knew going into this kitchen, there would be problems. We found rot everywhere. The sub floor was damaged coming up in layers. The lower 5 inches of the cabinets were rotten and had been Jerry Rigged with 2 by 3 lumber. So we tore out all the rot, jacked up and rebuilt the cabinets too. After that we put down a new floor. Next week, I will install new counters and a sink. Perfect!

This poorly cut stringer finally broke. With only a two inch back, it was bound to happen. Putting it next to standard stringers, you can see it was doomed. So I replaced it with proper materials. Enjoy!

This past month we finally moved to wrapping up our current kitchen. We had to install a sub panel for our new circuits. We added a sink, several main lights, undermount lights and moved openings. Lot's of details here. We are almost done with tile and final electric work. It's very exciting when everything comes together!

One of our dear clients had an "Oppsie!!" Moment. Not 100% their fault. The builder never fully framed out the opening so half is unsupported drywall on either side. With full framing this won't happen again. This is why PMCR CORP recommends getting a Home Inspection from Ken Nelson at Home Team Inspection when you're looking to buy.

Homeowner and countertop team missed the drain height during the selection of the big 10 inch deep sink. My solution was to go through the cabinets into the wall and replumb the drain so that everything works smoothly. Happy everything worked out!

We took three days to complete this herring bone backsplash. Our clients took 5 months to pick the tile. This attention to detail makes this kitchen really PoP! We love the final look. Well done.
