โจ When the stars align, they REALLY align. โจ
Since starting The Retro Plant Shop, Iโve dreamed about finding a local potter to work withโsomeone who could create little pots stamped with The Retro Plant Shop, fun coffee mugs, and unique pieces made especially for my plants.
Then a couple of months ago, in walks a friend. She tells me sheโs been taking pottery classes and has a bunch of pieces sheโd love to give me for my business. I offered to help with the cost of clay, and today she showed up with THESE beauties! ๐ And there are a few more Iโll share soon.
The mug? That baby is MINE. โ๏ธ๐ The other piece hangs on the wall and is just begging for an air plant.
So today I finally told her about my dream of working with a potterโฆand sheโs in! ๐
Sheโs still learning, Iโm still figuring out exactly what I want, and weโre going to learn and create together. And somehow, that makes it even more special.
I have no idea what this little collaboration will turn into, but I cannot wait to see what unfolds.
Sometimes the right people really do walk through the door at exactly the right time. ๐ฟโจ
