Loved this project. Our client felt like their pantry made their kitchen feel smaller, dark, and closed off. We knocked the wall down to open it up and add more flow to their home. Love how it turned out. They had a great vision and we helped bring it to life!

If you’re thinking about adding wall paneling, don’t skip this step 👇

✨ Skin coating (aka skim coating) your walls first makes a HUGE difference.

Here’s why:
– It smooths out texture so your panels sit flat and look high-end
– Prevents bumps and imperfections from showing through
– Gives you cleaner lines and tighter seams
– Helps adhesive and trim stick better (aka longer-lasting results)
– Overall… it just makes the finished product look 10x more custom

Paneling over textured walls = shortcuts you’ll notice later 👀
Taking the extra step = that crisp, polished look everyone wants

Trust the prep work — it’s what separates “DIY-looking” from designer finish 🔨
