🎃👻 THE COUNTDOWN TO 63 CONTINUES! 👻🎃

🎂 8 DAYS UNTIL MY HALLOWEEN BIRTHDAY! 🎂

Tonight's birthday countdown comes with another little campfire story. So turn down the lights, get comfortable, and remember… some things are better left buried. 💀

🕯️ THE WOMAN IN THE ROCKING CHAIR 🕯️

There was an old farmhouse at the end of a lonely dirt road. Nobody had lived there for nearly 40 years.

At least, that's what everyone believed.

Every night at exactly 11:13, a rocking chair on the front porch would begin moving.

Back and forth.

Back and forth.

The neighbors said it was the wind.

But the chair kept rocking even on nights when the air was perfectly still.

One Halloween night, a young man decided he'd had enough of the stories. He drove out to the farmhouse with a flashlight and a camera, determined to prove there was nothing there.

When he arrived, the rocking chair was moving.

He walked onto the porch.

The chair stopped.

He laughed nervously and sat down.

"Well, Grandma," he joked, "looks like I've stolen your seat."

From somewhere inside the dark house, an elderly woman's voice whispered…

"That's all right, sweetheart. I prefer yours."

He jumped up and ran for his truck.

The engine wouldn't start.

His flashlight flickered.

Then he heard it.

A slow, steady rocking sound.

Not from the porch.

From the back seat of his truck.

He turned around.

There sat an old woman, smiling.

Her lips never moved, but her voice filled the cab.

"You shouldn't have sat in my chair."

The next morning, police found the truck abandoned beside the farmhouse.

The driver's door was locked from the inside.

The young man was nowhere to be found.

But there was something new on the porch.

Two rocking chairs.

And every night at exactly 11:13…

They both begin to rock.

Except on Halloween.

On Halloween, the neighbors say they hear three.

And nobody has ever figured out where the third one is.

🎃 8 days until I turn 63!

Tell me… would YOU have sat in that rocking chair? 👻

🏡🐟 OUR FLORIDA ROOM REMODEL — THE VISION IS COMING TO LIFE! 🌴🔨

We've been dreaming, planning, and putting our ideas together, and I'm finally ready to share what we have in mind for our Florida room!

We're taking our 10 × 20 space and transforming it into two cozy spaces with one big personality!

🛋️ THE LIVING ROOM SIDE

A comfortable little retreat with coastal charm, a cozy couch, rustic wood accents, fish camp decor, and a place to kick back, watch TV, and relax.

🍹 THE FISH CAMP BAR SIDE

Now THIS is where the fun begins! A rustic bar with a beautiful wood countertop, corrugated metal accents, a coffee station, our mint-green retro refrigerator, and plenty of fishing-inspired character!

The entire room will tie together with white plank walls and ceiling, weathered wood trim, warm recessed lighting, and that laid-back Old Florida fish camp atmosphere we love.

We're going for a little rustic, a little coastal, and a whole lot of personality! 🐟🌴

These are our concept images, not the finished room. We've still got work ahead of us, but it's exciting to finally see our ideas come together!

And knowing us, there will probably be a few surprises along the way! 😂

❤️ Now I want to hear from YOU!

Which side would you claim first?

🛋️ The cozy living room?

🍹 Or a seat at the Fish Camp bar?

Follow along as we turn this little Florida room into our own slice of paradise! 🌴

⭐ Let's Clear Up a Little Confusion About Facebook Stars! ⭐

I've had a few people wondering how my accounts work when it comes to giving and receiving Stars, so I thought I'd explain!

⭐ Donna Wilson – Can GIVE and RECEIVE Stars!

⭐ Fossil Art Creations (FAC) – Can RECEIVE Stars, but cannot GIVE them.

⭐ An American Adventure (AAA) – Cannot GIVE or RECEIVE Stars.

❤️ So here's how we can support each other!

If you'd like to receive Stars from me, there are two things you need to do:

🌟 Send a friend request to my Donna Wilson account.

🌟 Follow my Fossil Art Creations page.

This helps me find you, visit your posts, and return some of the love and support you've shown me!

I love supporting other creators, but with three accounts and so many wonderful people to keep up with, I need a little help keeping everyone connected!

Remember, if you see Stars coming your way from me, they'll be coming from Donna Wilson! ⭐

And whether you're sending Stars, leaving comments, sharing posts, or simply stopping by to say hello, I appreciate every bit of your support!

❤️ Drop a comment below if we're already connected on both accounts so I can make sure I'm following along with you, too!

I want to give a huge shout-out to my top Stars senders. Thank you for all the support!

🔥 Tonight's Scary Story: THE LAST PHOTOGRAPH 📸

Back in 1963, a traveling photographer rolled into a little town with an old-fashioned camera and a strange offer.

For just one dollar, he'd take your picture and show you what you would look like in ten years.

Most folks thought it was a clever trick.

Until the pictures started coming true.

One woman saw herself holding a baby she'd never had. Three years later, she gave birth to a little girl.

A young man saw himself wearing a sheriff's badge. Seven years later, he became the town sheriff.

Then one Halloween night, a young woman stopped by his wagon.

She was celebrating her birthday.

"Can you show me what I'll look like when I'm old?" she asked.

The photographer studied her for a long moment.

"Are you certain you want to see?"

She laughed. "Of course! I plan on living forever!"

He pulled the black cloth over his head and snapped the picture.

When he handed it to her, she stopped laughing.

The photograph showed an elderly woman sitting in a rocking chair.

Behind her stood dozens of shadowy figures.

Every single one had its hands resting on her shoulders.

"What are those people doing behind me?" she whispered.

The photographer went deathly pale.

"Those aren't people," he said.

"Then what are they?"

He leaned closer and whispered,

"They're the things waiting for you to die."

The young woman laughed nervously.

"Well, they'll be waiting a long time!"

Then she noticed something.

The elderly woman in the photograph was no longer sitting in the rocking chair.

She was standing.

And she was getting closer.

The young woman dropped the picture and screamed.

The photographer snatched it from the ground, took one look, and ran.

She looked down at her hands.

They were wrinkled.

Her hair began falling out.

Her teeth loosened.

And somewhere behind her, a rocking chair began to creak.

She turned around.

There stood the elderly woman from the photograph.

Only now, her mouth was stretched into an impossible grin.

The old woman reached out, grabbed her by the throat, and whispered:

"You said you wanted to see yourself when you were old."

Her fingers tightened.

"You never said you wanted to live that long."

The next morning, the photographer's wagon was found abandoned.

Inside were hundreds of photographs, all showing different people sitting in the same old rocking chair.

Every person had their eyes sewn shut.

And behind every chair stood the same smiling old woman.

But one photograph was different.

It showed an empty rocking chair.

On the back, someone had scratched three words:

"SHE FOUND YOU."

The sheriff burned every photograph that night.

Or so he thought.

Because every Halloween since 1963, one photograph has appeared beneath a stranger's front door.

Nobody knows who delivers it.

Nobody ever sees anyone leave.

And everyone who receives one disappears before sunrise.

But the strangest part?

The photographs don't show the future anymore.

They show the room you're sitting in when you open them.

The same furniture.

The same shadows.

The same doorway behind you.

And in that doorway stands an old woman with her head tilted sideways and a smile stretched far too wide.

They say if you look closely, you'll notice something else.

Her feet never touch the floor.

And if you turn around to see whether she's really there, you'll find nothing.

At first.

Then you'll hear the slow creaking of a rocking chair.

Coming from the room you just left.

Followed by the soft scrape of fingernails against the wall.

Getting closer.

And closer.

Until an old woman's voice whispers directly into your ear:

"Don't turn around again, sweetheart."

"I only have a face when you're looking at me."

👻🔥 NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!

If someone handed you a photograph that showed your future, would you dare look? Or would you burn it without taking a peek?

And be honest... how many of you just looked over your shoulder? 😈

🎃 Only 8 more days until this Halloween baby turns 63! Born on Halloween in 1963, and still collecting spooky stories 63 years later!

Sleep tight, my friends... and if you hear a rocking chair creaking tonight, just remember...

Some things are better left unseen. 👻
