Now THIS is a full exterior refresh. 😍✨

With some construction going on inside the home, the outside was ready for a good cleanup and we hit just about everything!

We completed a full soft wash of the house, cleaned the exterior windows, power washed the concrete and front porch, sprayed down the patio furniture, and cleaned up the outdoor rug.

It’s crazy what a difference a full exterior cleaning can make. Everything just looks brighter, cleaner and so fresh again. 🙌🏼

This window wasn’t dirty, the seal had failed, leaving the glass cloudy and hazy. No amount of window cleaning was going to bring that clear view back, so we replaced the pane instead.

And LOOK at the difference!! 🤯
I’m so happy our customer can actually enjoy that beautiful, clear view again.

Cloudy or foggy windows don’t always mean you need an entirely new window. Sometimes, replacing the glass is all it takes!

Another staining job in the books 🙌🏼

This one took quite a bit of prep before we could even think about stain. The bottom portion of the wood had turned almost black from years of moisture, weathering, dirt, and organic growth building up in the wood.

We spent a lot of time bleaching and brightening those areas to bring the natural wood back, then gave everything plenty of time to dry. From there, we removed cobwebs, dust, and any remaining debris so the surface was clean and ready to take stain properly.

And wow — what a difference. 😍

The wood was so dry and thirsty that it absolutely soaked the stain up. Once finished, it looked completely revived and rejuvenated, almost like brand new wood again.

One of the best parts was having people walking and driving by while we were working, saying how beautiful it looked. Such a difference that others passing by had to express how good it looked.

Ever look at a window and think, “Why does that still look dirty even after I clean it?” 👀

Sometimes…it’s not dirt at all.

When the seal fails on an insulated window, moisture can get trapped between the panes of glass. Over time, you may start noticing

• Fog or condensation between the panes
• Cloudy or hazy glass
• Water spots or streaks that look like water has run down the inside
• Mineral-looking marks or staining you simply cannot clean off
• A window that always looks dirty no matter how much you scrub it

That’s because the problem is actually inside the sealed glass unit, where you can’t reach it to clean.

We replaced three panes in this customer’s living room today that had completely failed seals. I wish I would’ve grabbed an after video because the difference was BEAUTIFUL. 😍

Once the new glass was installed and cleaned, those windows were crystal clear again. Completely see-through, bright, and honestly made the whole living room look brighter.

You don’t always have to replace the entire window, either. In many cases, we can replace just the sealed glass unit and keep the existing window/frame.

If you have windows that stay cloudy, streaky or fogged up no matter how much you clean them, the seal may be the problem.

Didn’t get a before picture on this one 😅 but the seal was broken and our friend/customer wanted it replaced.

So that’s exactly what we did! Replaced the glass in the existing frame and boom 💥 good as new. 🙌

No need to replace the whole window when sometimes all it needs is new glass!

This was a BIG staining project, and the finished product started long before the stain ever went on. 🏡✨

The first week, we carefully power washed the entire cabin to remove dirt, debris, cobwebs, bat droppings, wasp nests and anything else that could prevent the stain from properly bonding to the wood.

Then we gave everything plenty of time to completely dry before coming back to begin staining.

Good prep work matters. And this project had A LOT of details behind the scenes. 👀

Over the next few posts, I’ll be sharing more of the process.
Protecting windows and glass
Masking off areas
Covering surfaces
Working around all of those little details and everything that went into making sure the stain ended up exactly where it was supposed to.

The finished result is important… but the preparation is what makes it last and gives the best results 🤎
