MSE Survivor
Ever wonder what your campers get up to on Thursday overnights? Last Thursday, our middle school campers competed in TPE Survivor! What's TPE Survivor, you ask? We'll let this montage answer that question for you.
Traveling Players Ensemble
Listen to Artistic Director Jeane Harrison talk about TPE.
Traveling Players Ensemble's camp provides intensive, classical theatre training to small troupes of actors who are carefully guided by professional theatre artists to perform in outdoor settings. Our program reflects the origins of theatre, when troupes of actors roamed the ancient and medieval countryside, relying on the barest props and boldest imagination to convey their art. Each session culminates in a fully mounted and designed performance which tours to several locations, cultivating stronger, more adaptable and capable artists and individuals.

Middle School Ensemble
Listen to Associate Artistic Director Toby Mulford talk about the Middle School Ensemble.
Perform in comedies that embrace the true spirit of the wandering entertainer!
Working in an ensemble of up to 13 actors, the Middle School Ensemble rehearses a classical play under the direction of a master teacher. Rehearsals focus on character creation, objectives, performance energy, vocal technique, physical engagement and ensemble training. Outdoor rehearsals and weekly campouts teach basic outdoor skills: learn to cook on a fire, set up a tent and avoid poison ivy! Swimming, outdoors games, all-camp revels, low ropes and fun-filled rides on our purple buses all add up to four fantastic weeks.
Great for all levels of experience. No audition is required. Campers can register for either session, or for both sessions to perform in both shows.
