🎃 Happy Halloween from our family to yours!

As I look back on another season of helping people bring their ideas to life, I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU.

To the homeowners trusting us with the plans for their forever homes. To our corporate and commercial clients trusting us with complex projects, facilities, and operations. To the architects, designers, builders, contractors, and industry professionals who invite us into the creative process.

And to every individual, family, business, and organization who has walked through our doors and trusted us with a piece of something important to them.

Thank you to the staff at the Kohler Design Center in Kohler, Wisconsin. What a magnificent tour. All the latest lines, inspirations, and amenities.

If you’ve not been here to see all that is the latest in kitchen and bath, you must come! This will be a great piece of information to pass along to our interior designer partners, as well as our homeowner clients when they’re looking for inspiration.

They have a kitchen and bath team on sight to assist you with your custom build or renovation. Next time, we will visit the foundry where they are still making the products we saw today.

A homeowner walks into our studio holding a photo on their phone.

The kitchen in that photo is beautiful. The island looks enormous. The light pours in. The ceiling seems to float.

Then we put their actual plans on our studio floor at true 1:1 scale, and they walk it.

And the questions change.

“Wait, is this the island? I thought there’d be more room behind it.”

“The pantry door hits the fridge?”

“That window is smaller than I pictured.”

“Can two people actually cook in here at once?”

None of these clients did anything wrong.

Inspiration photos, renderings, and now AI-generated images aren’t built from your plans. They’re built from someone else’s dream, or from no plans at all.

We could not be more honored that be asked to be part of this research study.

To introduce new technology to students therapists, and the people they care for after a brain injury. Our partners at Architectural Designs are fantastic to help us work through the barrier of finding a set of plans that were close to the design of the person served home.
