Flowers aren't the only thing that can make a pretty centerpiece.

I've gotten to create quite a few plant centerpieces over the years, and I love looking back at how different they've all been.

Succulents, houseplants, different containers, different styles... there's so much you can do with them.

And one of my favorite things about using plants as centerpieces is that they don't have to be enjoyed for just one day. They can go home with guests, be replanted, or keep growing long after the event is over.

Here are a few I've made over the years.

I think plants deserve a spot in the middle of the table too.

I figured it might be time for a little reintroduction!

I'm Ashleigh, the person behind Crazy Plant Lovee.

I've been doing this for over 7 years now, which still feels a little crazy to say!

Over the years, Crazy Plant Lovee has grown into so much more than just selling plants. I've done a whole lot of markets, taught a whole lot of workshops, planted more plants than I could ever count, and gotten to be part of some really fun community events along the way.

I love finding unique and unexpected things to put plants in, creating something a little different, and getting other people excited about plants too.

And even after all these years, I'm still learning. There are always new plants to discover, new ideas I want to try, and apparently no shortage of things I look at and think, "I could put a plant in that."

That's probably my favorite part of Crazy Plant Lovee. It keeps changing, growing, and giving me something new to create.

So if you're new here, hi! And if you've been here for a while, thank you for continuing to follow along. I'm glad you're here.

Every once in a while I scroll back through years of photos and find something I completely forgot I made.

It's kind of fun seeing how things have changed over the years. Different plants, different ideas, different things I've wanted to try.

And then there are some I look back at and think... yep, I'd still make that. Absolutely love this succulent planter from 7 years ago!

Who says all your greenery has to sit on a shelf?

I've been making these moss wall panels to bring a little bit of nature somewhere different... the wall!

Each one is a little different, and I'll only have a limited number with me at Boerne Handmade Market.

If you've already filled every table, shelf, and windowsill with plants... maybe it's time to start on the walls.

Plants I think deserve more attention...

Hoya pubicalyx!

The leaves are what get me with this one. Each one can have a completely different amount of that silvery splash, so even the same plant is constantly giving you something new to look at.

And then, if you're lucky enough to catch it blooming, those little clusters of star-shaped flowers are just ridiculously neat.

It's one of those plants that gets more interesting the longer you have it.

Did you know these can last 12+ weeks?!

I finished up this custom order of succulent pumpkin centerpieces yesterday, and one of my favorite things about making these is that they're not just pretty for a few days.

The pumpkins aren't cut, and the live succulents are arranged in preserved moss right on top. With a little care, the succulents can even start growing roots while they're there!

Once the pumpkin eventually starts to soften, the succulents can be removed and replanted in succulent soil so they can keep growing long after pumpkin season is over.

A centerpiece that's pretty now AND gives you plants later? Yes please.

Plant people, I have a question...

What's one plant you absolutely cannot resist?

You see it at a plant shop, market, wherever... and suddenly you're convincing yourself you definitely need another one.

Mine is changes but I always tend to go towards pothos.
