Hey Strangers,
Couple of announcements. First, I want to apologise if youāve checked out my website anytime in the most recent weeks, itās down so I can make what I hope to be improvements and update its information, but i have been slow to actually finish that up. I anticipate it coming back soon. More to come for that.
Secondly and finally, Iām in the middle of verifying, but if I confirm it to be true then meta seems to be setting up things for later this month to where they will be able to scrape our intellectual property with AI on all business pages/accounts and ANY ASSOCIATED LINKS in our bios, like our websites I presume. I have already removed my link even if it feels a bit like closing the barn door after the horses escaped, but Iām not sure that feels like enough if what Iām reading is accurate. Iām not sure why they would do this anyway, since Iām pretty sure theyāve already been doing it for a while already, but I guess this makes it official and sorta forces us to accept it by default, aka give permission legally? Anyway, if this is the case I donāt want to keep āhelpingā them even if I am not someone with a lot of reach at the moment and I know Iāve put information out there already. Which translates to mean this page will have to go. The deadline is 10/30, so Iāll let you all know beforehand if thatās what I decide to do, I just wanted to give you all a heads up that this might be coming. Iāll also be sure to let you all know where to find me instead should this page and any of my other meta accounts go down and youād like to continue following. This isnāt the end of our journey together, we will just be moving the monster mash elsewhere! I appreciate your understanding. Thanks for reading! Iāll be in touch soon. -Kit
