If this connection fails later, it’s a huge mess.
This linear drain is going into a second-floor shower, and once the shower is built, we won’t have easy access to this connection.
So before embedding the drain into the shower pan, we plugged the line, filled it with water, and checked the connection for leaks.
Once we confirmed everything was holding, we drained the line and moved forward.
And this is before the must-do shower pan flood test once the waterproofing is complete.
It’s much easier to test it now than repair it later.
