A closer look at the details that make simplicity interesting. The generous scale and softness of the sectional meet the striated wood of the Flexform table, bringing two very different materials together through clean geometry.

The small Greek ceramic urn plays with proportion, drawing your eye to the details around it: the grain of the wood, the texture of the upholstery, and the relationship between each piece.

Sometimes the smallest object makes you see the larger ones differently.

Walking the floor at Untitled Art Houston last night gathering inspiration and sourcing standout contemporary pieces that bridge bold modernism with the clean, structured architecture of our bespoke Houston homes.

Also ran into our fantastic clients from the Brutalist project! There is nothing better than seeing our design alumni out supporting global galleries and continuing their art-collecting journey!

A beautiful design is only as successful as its ex*****on.

For us, being present during construction is an essential part of the process. It’s where drawings meet reality, questions get answered in real time, and our team can work alongside architects, builders and trades to make sure the original design intent carries through to the finished space.

That level of collaboration and onsite involvement is how we turn an idea into a singular space that truly reflects our client.

A little girl’s room with plenty of room to grow at our River Oaks Residence. We kept the foundation sophisticated, then layered in soft blues, playful pattern and small pops of color to give the room a youthful feel that can easily evolve with her over time.

The slatted millwork became a recurring motif throughout the Brutalist Penthouse, dialoguing with the Carlos Cruz-Diez artwork that lives in the lobby. The screens create separation without closing off the architecture, allowing light and sightlines to filter through and shift as you move throughout the home and as the day draws on.

Art and architecture working in seamless conversation throughout the space.

The art of shape and reflection.

The curve of the light echoes the drape of the towel below, creating a subtle visual connection between two very different elements.

Even the smallest details are considered—the brass at the countertop carries through to the wall, creating continuity without everything needing to match.

It’s this attention to relationship, proportion, and detail that makes a room feel complete.

Lighting doesn’t always have to disappear into a room. Sometimes, it deserves to be part of the art.

At Pop Palace, this wall-integrated fixture from Flos becomes a focal point at eye level, casting a perfect circle of light that shifts in color and changes the experience of the space throughout the day.

A reminder that the most thoughtful lighting can do more than illuminate a room. It can shape it.

Progress at Bayou Timber! We’re preserving the spirit of the home’s original architecture while thoughtfully introducing the details that will bring it into its next chapter.

From seamlessly integrating new walls with the existing structure to concealing drapery tracks within the beams and electrical for a floating bed, every decision is intentional. A historic renovation is as much about what you don’t see as what you do.

Follow along as Bayou Timber continues to take shape.

Honoring the past while designing for the present.

Originally designed in 1938 by Cameron Fairchild, one of River Oaks’ most prominent architects, this home carries an important piece of Houston’s architectural history.

For the kitchen renovation, we introduced sinuous curves that speak to the home’s past while creating a distinctly modern interior. From the custom curved vent hood to the oak wood cabinetry, every element was tailored specifically to the home.

Bold, bookmatched stone continues from the backsplash to the island, bringing a sculptural quality to the space. Behind every detail is a careful balance of technical precision, architectural integrity, and the warmth of family life.
