I know, I know I'm a day late, but I will NEVER pass up a chance to brag and talk about my baby. Look at this face!! He is my daily, sometimes hourly, dopamine rush. He is my everything and my dream sun. Kenzo is living proof that words are great but not needed to be an effective soul in somebody's life. I am surely better for knowing him and being his momma. Happy but tbh we celebrate that 365 days a year over here! MY DOODLE

Im reallllly trying to get back into taking the time to read more on a regular weekly basis and specifically working in more fiction! I hosted our book club meeting with Jerica Shorter at my home this month and we had a good time. It was also my cousin Jasmine's last meeting before she moves back to Japan so we did a MuuMuu and Mimosas theme to celebrate transitions, spring, and new beginnings. ❤️
Even tho I've technically been in Houston for 10 years this month 😲 I still feel like I'm brand new to the city and it doesn't help that I'm a loner 🙃😂 so Im thankful for these ladies that always show love when we link up.

Lately, I've had to learn how to balance work again, life, and also being a full-time caretaker. Often I feel like I really need 30 hours a day because so much of my to-do list carries over daily and my wellness is usually at the tail-end rolling over.

In February I started back on my workout routine at Orange Theory going 4-5 days a week every week at 6a or 7am. I'm so proud of myself!
Now, Ive added IV Hydration drip to help with recovery and being able to get it at my home while Im working is PEAK time management 😂💪🏾❤️

After having her (Valerie) for 4 years... FOUR! MY has FINALLY decided to act right and grow up 🤦🏽‍♀️ these joints are so temperamental. This one didn't start making any moves until THIS year 🤦🏽‍♀️ it started pretty small when I was gifted it from a neighbor.

🪴They like to be in one spot with good filtered light.
🪴They like a little violence so you have to give them a little shake here and there to strengthen their trunk. I keep my ceiling fan on so the breeze helps to achieve this too.
🪴I regularly fertilize during the growing months

Anything else that you do to yours that helps?? A specific fertilizer??
