House Hunting...
Searching for a new home can be nerve racking to say the least! Having a second set of eyes looking over your top picks can be invaluable. Because I have seen it all when it comes to previously owned or new construction properties, I can be an asset to you during your search. Designers and home stagers can spot things that home buyers may not see much like home inspectors but for a much lesser expense upfront. Having a professional designer check your selection prior to your pulling the trigger could save you time, money and headaches down the road! Give me a call to help you make that decision on your next "nest"... so worth it!

Sourcing Your Look...
The selections in this photo were all gathered from different sources to create the look my client wanted. The original painting was hers, but the rest came from several different shops. We pulled them together in her foyer to compliment her living area. The moral of this story is, when you see it you know it! Go for it!

Adding Pattern
Want to perk up a room with pattern with very little commitment? Wallpaper the back of a bookcase! Go bold or subtle, colorful or neutral, textured or smooth. Any variation will highlight books and treasures drawing the eye toward the case. The unexpected background adds definition and depth to an otherwise plain flat surface. Use a peel and stick product to keep install easy and changeable!

The latest trend...
Adding antiques into your room design!
Nervous about using your great grandmother's side table in your living room? Well don't be! Incorporating family pieces or newly acquired treasures into your current room design is perfectly fine. In fact, older pieces add character and warmth to any room. So go ahead and polish up that mantle clock or Aunt June's umbrella stand, they are waiting to be admired again!

It's January people, and you know what to do this month right?
DECLUTTER!
Yes, it's time to go through your clothes closet, medicine cabinet, makeup drawer, kitchen pantry and start packing up all the outdated, expired, multiples, and half used items. Take one area at a time and see how good it feels to start the new year off clean and organized! YOU CAN DO THIS!

Window Art
While you're putting out your holiday decor, don't forget your windows! Grab some spray snow and stencils or pine cones from the yard and add some winter fun to that door wall or bay window!
You can even hold a glass in your hand and spray over it in front of the window to toast the town! Get creative!
