We recently had the opportunity to be part of this home addition and remodel, and the finished space turned out incredible!

It’s always great to see the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into a project like this from all the trades involved. The other contractors did some beautiful work, and it’s a great reminder that it takes a team to bring a vision to life.

Buck’s helped to bring it all together with the right lighting! We ran wire and installed recessed can lighting, under-cabinet lighting, and pendant lighting to add the perfect combination of functionality, warmth, and style. The finishing touches can make all the difference!

A special announcement from the Buck’s Electrical family!

We have officially welcomed our newest little member, Dominic James, into the world! 💙 We are so grateful for all of the love, support, and well wishes as we soak up these first few weeks with our son.

For the next couple of weeks, Buck’s Electrical will be operating with limited service availability as we adjust to life with a newborn. We do have another technician available to help with many service needs, so if you need us, please reach out directly through Facebook Messenger with the details of your job. We’ll do our best to get you taken care of as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of our small business during this special time for our family.

September 11th is deeply personal to our family.

Billy’s dad, the original “Bucky”, was working for the Long Island Rail Road when our country was changed forever.

Like so many New Yorkers, he didn’t hesitate. He fearlessly led his team of electricians into the effort to help in the aftermath of 9/11, performing search and rescue and cleanup for months.

Today, we honor him, his team, and the countless men and women who answered the call that day. The skilled trades played an important role in the recovery, and their willingness to show up, work hard, and serve others is something we will never forget.

May we never forget the lives lost, the families forever changed, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the countless people who sacrificed in the days and years that followed.

Your breaker is not meant to trip all the time.

If you keep resetting the same breaker, your electrical system is warning you that something is wrong.

A breaker can trip because of:

- Too many devices on one circuit
- Running several high-power appliances at once
- A short circuit or wiring problem
- A bad or faulty appliance

Don’t just keep flipping it back on. If it keeps tripping, it’s time to contact Buck’s to determine the right resolution to ensure safety and functionality of your system!
