When we came into this home, we could see that it needed much more than a fresh coat of paint. Nearly every room had extensive damage to its plaster walls and ceilings, and we were thankful this homeowner gave us the opportunity to bring new life back into their home!

This is where years of experience, knowledge, and proper preparation really make a difference.

• 189 stress cracks throughout the home — Every single crack was individually cut open, filled with fiber-reinforced repair material, finished with two coats of spackling, sanded, and primed. Now you’ll never see they were there!

• 45 nail pops in just the living room alone, plus numerous holes and other repairs throughout the home. All nail pops were reset, patched and blended.

• Severe staining treated with specialized stain-blocking primer.

• As always, Two Full coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald on the walls, SW Premium Ceiling paint on the ceilings, and Emerald Urethane on the trim. All trim, doors, baseboards, and windows were caulked with SW Shermax and painted (except the blue room).

• Our Clean Job Site Guarantee! Daily cleanup, plus our professional cleaning crew came in to clean the entire area where we painted! We took the time to clean and polish the beautiful woodwork in the living room, including the mantel and cabinets. We even made minor repairs to the front door to make sure it was closing properly for the homeowner.

Yesterday, we showed you the work that went into preparing this home. Over 276 project photos sent to the homeowner, extensive repairs, countless hours of preparation, and the knowledge to make sure everything was done correctly. Today, we’re excited to show you the finished transformation!

Five beautiful colors completely brought this home back to life, all from Sherwin-Williams:

Demure, Winter Twilight & Knitting Needles in the bedrooms. Glade Green in the dining room. Pure white in the addition. All walls, ceilings and baseboards completed!

And would you LOOK at that beautiful, sharp line where we stopped for the homeowner’s future renovations!

But today we are also proud to announce that PROFESSIONAL HOUSE CLEANING is now included with our interior painting services AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!

Some homes need a lot of more than just paint, and this was sure one for the books!

From major stress cracks and damaged wallpaper, to staining issues and 168 nail pops and holes in the living room ALONE, this home needed some serious attention before the first coat of finish paint could ever go on!

Here’s just a glimpse of what went into this transformation:

— 168 nail pops and holes in ONE room! Every single one repaired, patched, and sanded.

— Major stress cracks throughout the home! We didn’t simply cover them with filler. We opened those cracks up, removed the failing material, and made the necessary repairs.

— Damaged wallpaper! Repaired, prepared, and sealed with an oil-based primer before applying our premium finish coating.

— A wood ceiling that needed the RIGHT coating! We applied an oil-based stain-blocking primer to prevent the wood tannins from bleeding through our beautiful, sprayed finish coat.

— Every baseboard and window caulked! We addressed gaps and imperfections throughout the home because those beautiful, clean lines don’t happen by accident!

— An unexpected moisture issue! We brought in multiple dehumidifiers to address moisture conditions before continuing. Sometimes knowing when NOT to paint is just as important as knowing how!

— Sanding, patching, and MORE sanding! We completely sanded every wall, patched each wall, then went back and sanded again!

But wait there’s more!

Using CompanyCam, we documented this project from beginning to end, taking over 276 photos, and the majority of those photos were taken BEFORE and DURING the painting process!

Why does that matter?

Because an AFTER photo only shows you how beautiful a room looks. It doesn’t necessarily show you what was done underneath that finish. A final photograph can’t tell you whether the cracks were properly repaired, the surfaces were sanded, or the correct primers were applied.

That’s why we document the work that matters most, even when it’s work you’ll never see again!

We want our homeowners to see the preparation, the repairs, the products, and the process. Not just the finished result. We don’t believe in simply making something look good for a photograph. We believe in doing the proper work underneath so that beautiful finish has the best opportunity to last for years to come.

We’re incredibly thankful for another homeowner who gave us the opportunity to put our experience and knowledge to work.

A few weeks ago, we stained this fence and building using oil-based stain. Our homeowner decided they wanted a different color combination, and we were more than happy to come back and make it happen!

This time, they went with Peppercorn on the fence, Evergreen Fog on the building, and Hampton gray trim!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to help a good friend who is building a new home. And for me, that’s one of the greatest blessings of owning this business; that I’m able to use what God has given me to help the people around me. I didn’t do it for recognition. I did it because he’s my friend, and it’s simply how I would want someone to treat me.

We sprayed and back-rolled PVA primer throughout the walls and ceilings and applied Sherwin-Williams Premium Ceiling Paint to the ceilings. He and his wife are going to paint the walls themselves, and I wanted to make sure that when they do, they’re starting with the best foundation I can possibly give them.

That’s also something I’m proud of about being owner-operated. When you call us, you talk directly to me, and when you trust us with your home, I’m right there doing the work.

I’m a painter. I know the trade. And I put my own hands, experience, and reputation into every job we take on.

I believe when you hire a professional, you deserve a professional. Someone meticulous enough to catch what others might overlook, experienced enough to know what needs to be done, and thorough enough to go above and beyond to make sure it’s truly done the right way.
