Painted a garage. correction: scraped, then painted. the client had begun the process and then tapped out. I don't blame him, it's tedious stuff, I wouldn't want to spend my days off doing it either, lol.

They had some damage from a leak along the eave which I repaired as well. of course, I forgot to take a photo of that specifically. sigh.

the caulk on the front of the garage was in poor shape, so I cleaned that out as well and applied new sealant. should be good for a couple decades =)

Friday October 30 from 9:30a-1:30p I'll be selling my stained glass art at the Dexter Senior Center craft fair. I don't have finished photos yet, cuz I'm feverishly working to get the pieces themselves finished, but I hope to have some by next week.
halloween stuff, Christmas stuff, dog and cat paws, gnomes, birds, sunbursts, pride art, wind chimes... lots of stuff, priced mostly in the 40-100 range.

backsplash.
backsplashes are the best. you get to work with tiles but it's not nearly as physically draining as a full shower, or a floor.
as a bonus, this type of zeolite style tile is installed without spacers. the look is handmade, with uneven edges and a rolling surface.
going back this week to install the outlet spacers and new covers.

Fifty six nuts and bolts, y'all. well, if you count the two bolts that hold the bin onto the stand it's fifty eight. !!! and of course, after carrying around for 2 years the hex-headed screwdriver that was created for just this type of assembly, I took it out of the toolbox two weeks ago. šŸ«£

Finally got the medicine cabs up.
I'll tell you, high humidity and drywall patching, then painting, is a ridiculously loooooong process. even with fans, it all takes forever to dry out enough to be workable.
anyway.
I decided not to do the electrical once I opened the wall and had a look at what was going on. other electricians came out and relocated some outlets, and were supposed to move the lights up but did not. after another trip out to move the lights, I was able to get back in there and begin the repair process.
patched all the drywall holes, sealed that up, then painted. let that dry a full week, then came back and put up the mirrors.
sweet little unit, those med cabs. heavy as heck, but nicely made. the insides are all mirror too, which has the benefit of reflecting the light into the cabinet. no dark dingy medicine cabinets here. also the inside of the doors are mirror so you can open one up and do all that close up chin hair plucking =)

all that's needed now in this space are the frameless shower walls, and a grab bar.

I've been a busy little bee.Had some exterior rot on a couple of windows. replaced the trim and caulked the seams.

FB messenger NO LONGER WORKS reliably for me. it turns out that my desktop computer is too old, 11 years, and I cannot update the software any further. I do most of my contacting in the morning, when I time to sit and concentrate and my brain is fresh.
Please email or text to inquire about anything. I can see comments, and respond, but the whole meta business suite is just blank. super annoying and I'm not buying new desktop for thousands of dollars (I'm a Mac) when fb is the only thing glitching.
