Same house. Same brick. New look! Over the years we have helped these clients with many things and we finally got our hands on the exterior! We presented paint options, color placement, shingle selection and lighting. The new darker color brings out the variation of the brick and the modern lighting is the jewelry to this big two story. Then the clients finished things off was the new landscaping! Are you thinking of painting but keep putting it off? We are here to help!

Fall is here…right?? Today we will hit almost 90 again but this wreath is ready for sweater weather. We created and delivered her last week along with a few other CBI cuties.

Mini Before and Afters. Back in March I got a text…”are you out of our league? We just need small tweaks”. Absolutely not! Let’s chat! Now I must say, it did end up growing into more than small tweaks 🤓For this living room and dining room in Winterset we purchased new lighting and fans, upgraded the carpet and selected a few new pieces to elevate the existing furniture.

Curb appeal…the first thing you see getting home and the last as you leave. It’s the lead photo to an MLS. It’s the way you welcome friends and family. It’s like the cover sheet to your home’s resume. We helped our clients level up in Lake Tapawingo. Who’s next? Quality Home Concepts Sherwin-Williams Wilson Lighting

One of our specialties at CBI is working with what our clients already have. For this primary bedroom the carpet, furniture, lighting and the cream bedding were recently added. Our job was to pull everything together. Our clients love color so we chose the most gorgeous fabrics 😍 In a room this big (and a tad short on architectural interest) framing the four windows in custom drapes is a game changer. Also I can not get enough plum in my life right now, but plum crocodile??? YES, please! Charlotte Fabrics Wilson Lighting

This summer we spent time at our favorite grill and drafthouse. We added commercial vinyl to the long hallway, repurposed the barn door sliders into a one-of-a-kind 400 square foot drapery treatment! These gorgeous Java colored drapes divide the rooms for private parties AND help with noise absorption. We also chose a bigger better option for server storage. DW Construction

Starr Homes had three entries in the Artisan Tour and we were able to see all three of them. I hope you’ve enjoyed all the photos and feel inspired to try something new in your own home 😘
