And now we have a roof over the elevator shaft.

Elevator’s roof framing is happening. And as I always do there’s a signed ridge with a blessing. For those who don’t know I do this on every project that has a roof that I frame.

As kids the guys in our neighborhood would scavenge wood and nails from job sites around our area. Then we’d build tree forts in the forest nearby. Not too high at first. But then Frankie Drake decide to go full skyscraper! The tallest one three stories in the air. It was so cool. Apparently I have been building tree forts all my life. I’ve loved to build. Outside mornings in the clear air. The smells of fresh cut lumber. I can honestly say I’ve loved what I do. Something to show at the end of a day. (Besides achy muscles). Thank you to God for putting the best teachers in my youth that made me who I am today.
