Honey Garlic Ribs
Ingredients:
3 lbs baby back pork ribs
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp ground ginger
½ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a large baking sheet with foil.
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs if it is still attached. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
Rub the ribs all over with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and ground ginger.
Place the ribs meat-side up on the prepared baking sheet and cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 2½–3 hours, or until the ribs are very tender and the meat pulls away easily from the bones.
While the ribs cook, combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ketchup, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan.
Simmer the glaze over medium-low heat for 4–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and glossy.
Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully uncover them. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).
Brush the ribs generously with the honey garlic glaze, making sure to coat the entire surface.
Return the ribs to the oven uncovered and bake for 8–10 minutes, brushing with another layer of glaze halfway through.
For an extra caramelized finish, broil the ribs for 1–2 minutes, watching closely so the honey glaze doesn't burn.
Let the ribs rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing between the bones.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped parsley or green onions, then serve with extra glaze if desired.
Enjoy these Honey Garlic Ribs—tender, sticky, caramelized, and loaded with sweet garlic flavor. They're perfect for family dinners, backyard gatherings, game days, or whenever you're craving finger-licking comfort food.
