Limerence (noun): an involuntary state of intense romantic obsession, infatuation, and longing for another person, where it’s unclear whether those feelings are returned

Coined by psychologist Dorothy Tennov, it describes that consuming, can’t-stop-thinking-about-them feeling, especially when you can’t tell if the interest is mutual. It’s the racing heart, the replayed conversations, and the constant checking of your phone.

Limerence is the feeling that takes over your thoughts. It’s a lot more than a crush.

Soporific (adjective): tending to induce sleep; boring to the point of dullness

"The lecture was unintentionally soporific." Translation: it was so boring, people fell asleep.

It's not just sleepy—it's the kind of dullness that actively puts you to sleep. That meeting that could have been an email? Soporific. That documentary narrated in a monotone? Definitely soporific.

A little learning, a little giving back, and a whole lot of tie-dye. 💜🧡

The A3G team recently spent the day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City, helping put the finishing touches on a new home for a local family.

Giving back to our community is important to us, and days like this also give our team the chance to step outside the office, get hands-on, and keep learning from the people who build the spaces we design.

And, of course, we believe teamwork is better when you have a little fun along the way. 😄

We’re grateful to Habitat KC for the opportunity to spend the day learning, laughing, and contributing to a home that will last far beyond our volunteer shift.

Last night, A3G Architects had the pleasure of attending the Kearney Chamber of Commerce Harvest Gala at To***co Barn. We were truly honored to be recognized as a Rising Star, and we were thrilled to celebrate alongside our friends at Precision Athletics, who were also recognized as a Rising Star!

It was a magical evening filled with wonderful people, delicious food, and great memories. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a supportive and vibrant community. ❤️
