A couple of months ago, I was at Farm and Thread when a woman walked up and asked if I owned Simply Happy. I told her I did, and she started telling me what my products mean to her.

She has struggled with acne her entire life, well into her adult years. Nothing worked until she found Simply Happy. Her skin cleared, and for the first time in a long time, she told me she feels good about it. She told me that she recommends my products to many others and that they have found similar success.

I seriously can’t tell you how much that moment meant to me. I have thought about that conversation almost every day since.

I started Simply Happy at my own kitchen table, formulating for my own family. I never imagined something I made by hand would reach a stranger and change the way she sees herself in the mirror.

When I think about why I do this, it isn’t the sales or the numbers. It’s moments like that one. Forget the money side of the business. Helping someone feel confident and beautiful in their own skin? Well worth its weight in gold.

I keep staring at that number, and I’m not sure I have the right words, but I’m going to try.

A few years ago, I was just a mom in my kitchen, melting tallow on the stove and trying to make something gentle for my own kids’ skin. There was no business plan and no big audience, just a stack of notebooks, a lot of trial and error, and a little dream I was almost too shy to say out loud.

Most days, my “office” is wherever the kids aren’t. I’ve packed orders between math lessons, answered emails with a toddler on my hip, and stayed up way too late after bedtime to build something I believed in. There were plenty of nights I wondered if it was foolish to even try.

And then you showed up. You liked, you shared, you ordered, you sent kind messages on the days I needed them most. Every single one of you made this dream feel real.

5,000 people believed in a small-batch brand born at a family kitchen table.

To my kids, who are watching their mama chase something: I hope you always chase yours too. And to everyone who’s ever hit “follow,” thank you for letting me do what I love.

This past weekend, I was able to process and ship over 10 wholesale orders and 6 online orders, plus work on restocking local boutiques.

Waking up early and staying up late to complete these orders, I don't take this lightly. I am genuinely blessed with Simply Happy and every single ounce of support I receive.

As the busy season approaches, shipping times may be delayed slightly, but please know that it is because I am dedicated to quality and that most items are "made to order", meaning they are fresh and new when they get to you!

So the other day, my Mom and I were out shopping, and she found a candle fragrance that she absolutely loved.

And like.....I can't be beat by a competitor to my own mother.....

Thus, our newest creation! A candle inspired by my Mom and her serious love for coffee.

Top: Creamy Caramel, Coconut Milk
Middle: Coffee Beans, Cocoa Powder, Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg
Base: Sweet Vanilla
