May is National Water Safety Month! Placing a spotlight on some of the most important safety features around any pool - the fence, gates, and safety hardware.

While supervision is always the first line of defense, a well-built, properly functioning, and secure gate provides a critical second layer of protection.

Before opening your pool each year, always confirm the following:

✅ Ensure the fence is secure, stable, and free of damage
✅ Confirm gates are self-closing and self-latching
✅ Check that latches, hinges, and hardware are functioning properly
✅ Remove climbable objects like furniture, toys, or equipment near the fence
✅ Inspect for gaps, loose panels, or areas in need of repair

A safer pool starts with a secure barrier!

Call Pinnacle Fence & Outdoors for all of your pool safety needs!
