Testing out some high-contrast looks with these wolf designs. It’s interesting to see how a simple color inversion changes the entire feel of the piece—one focusing on the natural wood wolf against a dark background, and the other doing the exact opposite.

Floyd’s Woodwork has been exploring these graphic, clean-cut styles since the shop opened in 2021. These make for great circular wall accents that really pop because of that sharp light-vs-dark contrast. 🐺🌲

A fusion of culture and craftsmanship. 💀🇺🇸

Floyd’s Woodwork is proud to showcase this intricate "Patriotic Sugar Skull" relief. Established in 2021, the shop specializes in decor that tells a story, and this project is a perfect example. By blending traditional patterns with American symbolism, the result is a bold, high-depth piece of wall art that stands out in any collection.

From the initial carving to the final hand-applied finish, every detail is handled with the precision and discipline you’d expect from a Veteran-owned shop. ✊🏾🇺🇸

Watching a flat board turn into a waving flag is still one of the best parts of the job. It’s all about the depth and how the light hits the "folds" in the wood. Getting the Special Forces crest to sit naturally within the waves was the main goal for this one. 🇺🇸⚔️

The way the grain runs through the scales almost makes it look like it’s moving. This high-relief piece was a fun project that really showcases how the wood itself adds to the design. A lot of focus went into getting those shadows deep enough to bring the gator to life. 🐊

At Floyd’s Woodwork, every piece of decor is a mission.

This custom 2nd Amendment tribute was commissioned for a fellow Veteran who wanted a centerpiece for his home office that reflected both his service and his heritage. From the initial deep-relief carving to the final hand-painted detail, this project represents the standard of excellence the shop has maintained since 2021.

By combining modern precision with a respect for the subject matter, the result is a durable, high-impact piece of wall art that honors history. 🇺🇸✊🏾
