As Hollywood’s in-demand personal tailor, Isa refines designs and perfects fits that grace red carpets, runways and couture ad campaigns alike. Isa has a passion for all things Tailored & Made and has been deeply involved in the high-end fashion industry over the past 15 years from design to product development, technical design, tailoring, couture, on-set tailoring and styling, and sales. Isa has worked with the companies and clients such as The New York City Ballet Costume Shop, Rod Keenan New York, Zuhair Murad, Givenchy, Vogue, Rachel Zoe, numerous stylists, advertising and editorial clients, as well as many of Hollywood’s most iconic celebrities.

I recently had the privilege of showcasing the Ephemera collection at Hotel Chelsea during NYBFW | New York Bridal Fashion Week

Getting in front of the stylists, buyers, PR professionals, and writers who shape this industry is honestly one of my favorite things. Sharing what I have been building, hearing what they are looking for, talking through ideas in person. That kind of face time is irreplaceable.

A big takeaway from the week: the appetite for fit and layering solutions is so real right now, and these pieces did not come out of nowhere. They grew directly out of the fit and layering solutions I have been creating for clients one on one for a long time. The stretch silk bodysuits, boleros, chiffon slips as layering pieces, and silk shoulder coverings were a hit with clients who want to build a full wardrobe around their day, not just find a single gown. More of these pieces are on the way.

Oh and stay tuned. I will soon be booking appointments on Madison Avenue, Mondays and Tuesdays.

After a childhood filled with memories on this island as well as many into my young adult life, it’s been maybe 10 years since I’ve made it to Nantucket…. Thanks to my pals Jess & Joe for having us and hosting our sweet little trunk show, organizing the most fun week of activities including weaving our own bracelets with Nantucket Bracelets and sharing the best company with many old friends and family, as well as new! (Shout out to our mascot Gary 🐕)

When your wedding look needs an undergarment that doesn’t exist…we make it for you 🪽

Sophie chose this Danielle Frankel set for her courthouse wedding; the top was semi-sheer, backless and loosely draped. A conventional lining would have added weight and changed that gorgeous drape, taking away from everything that made the top so beautiful.

So I designed a stretch-silk bodysuit specifically around the garment, giving Sophie all the desired smoothing and support without taking anything away. The results were better than we could have dreamed.

And because practical doesn’t have to mean boring, we finished it with the tiniest silk-covered buttons down the back.

It worked perfectly under the Danielle Frankel, but turned out to be pretty gorgeous in its own right.

San Francisco you were so good to me!

Here’s a BTS recap of our first trunk show. Launching a collection is such a departure from tailoring and how many of you have come to know me. I’m so grateful for the outpouring of support from my community as I take on this new role as a brand.

In many ways, though, it doesn’t feel entirely new. So many tailors before me have walked this path, creating bespoke pieces with an obsessive attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the intimacy of dressing the body. Still, this shift feels like a long time coming. A new creative chapter that feels deeply refreshing and creatively expansive for me.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in SF to see the collection in person. To touch the fabrics, try pieces on, place custom slip orders, and spend time with us. It meant more than you know.

I’m on hiatus from the Met this year, but I’ve been in my archive all morning and I can’t stop looking at these.

I’ve worked with Beyoncé four times including the infamous elevator year. Kim Kardashian when she was pregnant with North West. Madonna in tribute to Alexander McQueen. Jennie from BLACKPINK two years in a row with both Alaïa and Chanel. Dua Lipa for Chanel. Vittoria Ceretti with Alaïa. The list goes on which I’ll cover in more intimate detail over on my Substack.

I’ve worked directly with Alaïa, Givenchy, Chanel, Burberry, Prada, and Stella McCartney over the years.

Every single one of these nights has a story I’ll never tell. But I was in those rooms, and I know exactly how much went into each of these looks in ways that don’t ever make it into the event coverage. Some of the looks don’t make it onto the carpet at all. But that’s a story for another time!

The Ephemera collection is coming off the website and into a room.

This Wednesday in San Francisco, we are participating in a private trunk show alongside our friends The Tray () and Paper Tag Denim (). Silk pieces from the Ephemera collection will be available to see, touch, and take home including a small selection of one-of-a-kind vintage Hermès scarves upcycled into camisoles, available off the rack. The full collection is also available for custom order, including never before seen styles.

Attendance is by reservation. Address will be shared upon RSVP.
