Changing this home from looking split in half, with a top and bottom that did not relate to each other, to a home that is warm and inviting, all happened when I created a new color palette for them! Changing the roof color was part of the process, and what a difference it made! So happy with the new look (and new landscaping!)

How valuable is it to add wood to your home? Check out my post on adding wood accents to your design:

Wood accents don't belong to one decorating trend or type of home. I see it as one of the most timeless ways to make a house feel personal.

Happy to be choosing interior colors for a new home, working with homeowners I worked with years ago. It’s an honor to work together again as they are stepping into a new phase of their life. I love when people call me back to work with them again, I can’t wait to get started!

When I gave these homeowners the palette I created for their home with an off white body color, they were completely confused! In a town well known for its colorful homes I said “trust me” there will be lots of color once the painting is completed! Taking the leap with me and trusting my reputation and expertise, they gave all of my colors to the painter and patiently waited to see it come together. This Cape May home is stunning in its new colors, and the homeowners couldn’t be happier!!

Looking at some of my more popular blog post, I think you'll enjoy this one with this latest trend:

Recluttering is not about filling a home with random objects. It’s about thoughtfully bringing meaningful items back into the home.

Choosing colors that make a bold statement can be very rewarding! Originally this home was completely nondescript. The color palette I created for them layering rich greens to bring out the details, was a win-win; what a difference!

This contemporary home (originally looking very Orange) stood house harshly, and desperately needed new colors to fit into the surrounding environment. My new color palette tied together the beautiful stone, accentuated its design and made it so much more inviting! The homeowners were so happy with my colors I’ll be choosing colors for a new building being added to their property, I can’t wait to get started!

You might need to look at this transformation more than once. This homeowner wanted to dip her toes into color, but maintain the classic feel of her home. The soft green body color and navy blue shutters are just what she was hoping for; they loved the new look! The new colors are clean and felt so fresh!

An incredibly grand home, I was thrilled when the homeowners reached out asking me to create a new color palette for their home! This elaborate home has richly colored brownstone foundation with lots of decorative details on all sides. The new colors had to be just right to complement the existing elements and bring it all together! Creating a palette of a luscious deep green, a lighter trim and a variety of accent colors, the results were stunning! I will share more photos of the details in the future, they all deserve to be seen!
