Some flower arrangements from the cut garden ft hydrangeas from our landscaped beds. Anyone interested in seeing landscape gardening content next year?

I know you’ve all been wondering where we’ve been….. it was a super challenging year for us to maintain the garden! Some wins but a lot of losses, starting with the cover crop. I planted it too late and did not have a clear way of terminating it, which led to an immense amount of hand weeding! Not to mention several newly established areas in which grass is trying to creep back in. Hoping the soil continues to improve with just compost top-offs because we won’t be doing cover crops again.

These chicks are 3 weeks old! Feathers are coming in nicely and it’s looking like a lot of short tail feathers so far 😬
